I have no clue where the time went. The days were long, but the years wear short, and I'm officially finished with nursing school. Soon to be a GN.
There was a time when I considered not attending - all the lovelies at allnurses gave me a smack down and off to class I went.
There was a time when I considered dropping out. All the lovelies at allnurses told me to have my pity party, and get back to class. And I did.
I raised kids, went to school full time, and even worked full time the during my second year. I'm whooped.
But now it's over! The learning has just begun...I'm more aware of that than ever, but I'm so excited for the journey ahead, as hard as it might be. I know it'll be completely worth it.
Thanks everyone for all your help! I'm sure I'll have a million more questions along the way. :)

Congratulations!! It's crazy how fast it has gone! I've been right there with you since we started at the same time. I still have one more semester to go but I know it'll fly. What are your plans? Job prospects yet? What units are you eyeing? I've picked CVICU for my senior specialty, loved my rotation there.

Yay, Steph!!! You were one of the first people I "met" on AN when I was doing my pre-reqs. I still remember the day you got accepted :)
I'm so glad you finished your program and you can call yourself a nurse! Congratulations!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Congrats! I became real active on this site this past summer and you were one of the regular posters. I remember reading your thread about wanting to drop out and thinking it was really unfortunate. So glad to hear you stuck with it AND it's time to graduate!

Congratulations! I feel like we've gone down this path together (I have one and a half more weeks). You will do a great job as a nurse!
