Almost the end of the semester and I would rather...

It is almost the end of the semester and there are a whole lot of things I would actually prefer doing over studying at this point! Please, join in with some more!

I would rather have carnations pinned all over me and made to stand under a bee hive than study. :bugeyes:

I would rather be tarred and feathered while walking down the street begocking like a chicken than to work on the quizzes.

I would rather throw up than read my assignments.

I would rather do laundry by hand than do a care plan.

I would rather clean the slimy goo off a grease trap than show up for lecture.

I would rather clean up a big hot steamy pile of dog doo than to read a chapter.

I would rather have my tongue cut with razor blades and then salt poured on it than... Well, maybe that is a bit extreme...:uhoh3: What would you rather do?

Hope y'all don't think I'm sick and twisted, I am just SO tired of school and ready for Summer!!! :D

I wish I could join you, as I feel the same way ... but sadly I have summer classes starting with less than a week for a summer vacation. Anything at this point has to be better than books ... hope you have a great summer vacation!!

To be honest: There is no place I'd rather be then in nursing school ! I graduate in July of this year so each day in nursing school means that I'm one day closer to my goal. I just have to keep telling myself: Just x amount of careplans and I'm done... Just x amount of exams and I'm done...

ha ha ha! I feel the same way!!!! I have been vegging out the past couple of weeks....thinking "man I should be practicing NCLEX style questions right now, but its so nice just doing nothing." All my classes are over and I am just putting in hours for my preceptorship.

Lets just try to stick it out till we pass our NCLEX.....eventhough we are sooooo over this!:specs:

I completely understand how you feel. I am in my last week of classes for this semester, and all I have left to take is the ATI's. I am so tired and I really need a vacation. For me, I start my last semester of nursing school May 6th, so there is a light at the end of the tunnel.

I would so rather be playing Rock Band 2 with my kids all day throughout the weekend instead of studying. I have been known to do this and it drives my husband nuts! :banghead: There's just so many times you can belt out "Wonder Wall" by Oasis without getting sick of hearing it! I think I've worn out that song and "Come Out and Play" by Offspring. LOL! :D

hmmm...I would rather be on the beach with my children than to take up a book. But hey, it will soon be over...I have four projects to present by tuesday and they are killing me. I am so tired...I cant wait for October to come..The time seems to be going slowly..:yawn:

I would rather be sitting in the sun, working in my garden, cleaning my house, doing my laundry, walking my dog - anything! But studying for the last test before the final in the last med-surg class of nursing school - cardiac - my WORST. But, study I must - thanks for the momentary diversion!

I'd rather be trapped in a lecture hall taking NCLEX practice questions than be forced to write an 8-10 page paper, a short reflection paper, a family analysis paper, and work on a group project for community health. I've got the windows open in my apartment and am trying my hardest to stay focused...but there's only 32 days left until graduation! I'd rather have a million interviews than go on the ones that I've been on and get more rejection letters too. *sigh*

too funny!! i actually just finished nursing school in december and many times i had those thoughts...however i just spent the day gardening because i seriously neglected my garden for the last 2 and 1/2 years....what a mess...but with me there was little i could do besides study....i actually kindof miss it....happy summer!

I'd rather relive all three of my labors back to back with no pain medication than do another care plan..... I don't get summer off either, but still. I'm on my 5th care plan and I'm only in my first semester.....

I would rather scrub my toilets with a tooth brush than study!! Finals in Med-Surg. and Health Promotions and 2 wks of clinicals and then I'm off all summer!!I'm still debating about coming back and just being a LPN but I'm afraid if I don't come back I will regret it. I'm so exhausted it will take me a month just to catch up on lost time with my children, sleep and house work. Everyone have a great summer!!
