Our building is at least 70 years old (maybe older) and we don't have an elevator at all. Half of our building is 3 stories. I'm adding that to my list...

How is that legal? Our elevator was taken out of service for 24 hours (long story) and the head of the school was freaking out because we were out of ADA compliance. We had to pull a lot of strings to get elevator back in service ASAP.

I'd love to be removed from the gym pass equation. Kid brings a note from home/doc. Shows it to the gym teacher. Gym teacher sends kid to me. I have to stop what I'm doing to write a pass about the same issue that is already written in the note from home. I have middle schoolers who are coddled by their parents. Any time they have to run the mile or the pacer, I easily have 20 of these special snowflakes in my office. It drives me nuts! Or, if they could all present their special cases first thing in the morning, or at some dedicated time, instead of sprinkled throughout the busiest parts of the day, that would be great.

But, I'd be happy with a lunch break or an ice machine:)

Standing orders for zofran.

It's been a week.

Yassss!!!

Currently sitting with Harry Potter rings and bracelets on. The usual. A few years ago I decided to be more "low key" with my outpouring of fandom pride, but the kiddos still see and get a kick out of my jewelry choices.

Also, sounds like you literally have nothing!? What did they give you, a closet!?

Pretty much! When I first started, I had a desk that was located in the main office. Picture your front office crew with a random desk against the wall for the nurse! The next year I was moved to a room I shared with multiple file cabinets for school records PLUS my file cabinets for my stuff. Then I was moved right next to that office when our guidance counselor decided to move over to where our admin is located. I thought this office was bigger (probable because it has a window) but really it's about 2 feet shorter! I keep telling them I wish they would knock the wall down between my current office and the one I used to use so that I could have both areas which would make for a pretty nice setup (in my opinion) but they've yet to do that! I have no cot/ bed for the kiddos to lay on. They get to lay down on a couch/bench thing that is right outside of my door but I can't see them unless I walk out of my office. As far as storage goes....I bought a 3 drawer Rubbermaid storage thing to keep my stuff in but is busting at the seams! Aside from that though, I have 2 file cabinets in my room with....yep! My files from the previous years in them! My office looks like it exploded. It never looks "clean" because I have my stacks of stuff placed everywhere. Organized chaos, if you will!

Walk-thru scanner, like at the airport, but for BS.

And a new mini fridge, mine just died.

Privacy and space as well.

X-ray glasses

And a partridge in a pear tree.

But I'll take more bandaids.

This.

Endless tampons and pads

Ice machine

Lunch Break

I see this as totally doable! Seriously, think about it - the school district already does transportation, most bus drivers work morning and afternoon, with non-paid time off in the middle of the day - I bet there are a handful of them that would love extra hours.
