first test in 1 week
This is an amazing link for the histology test. Click on supporting Tissue and Muscle It is called Virtual Slidebox and is like looking at slides under a microscope. Works best with fast internet connections. This got me through my health science courses.

that site is pretty cool
thanks!
Here is something that I'm trying and it's working out. I bring my digital camera to class and take pictures of the actual bones and models. I can then study it on my computer, which blows them up to a bigger size on my screen. Some of it takes a few tries to get a good shot. Try to get shadow to show up by having light on one side. Turn off the flash, it washes out the details and annoys classmates. Take several pictures at different angles of the same spot. So far it's helped, but the skull is tricky because of all the wierd angles.
Good idea! I picked up the Anatomy Revealed CD. That is an AWESOME tool, I just want to keep playing with it. I only found out about it by turning over my textbook and finding out about it on the back, lol. I played around on the website which gives some free sections and fell in love. I found out this unit that they have my text linked to it, so it gives me a list of videos or sections view that correspond to the stuff in the book. Oh, the CD also has a self-test section. I am going to use that when we get that far. Still haven't started histology yet, ugh. BTW, the CD only cost be 30 something off half.com

I got it, too. Someone also recommended the Get Ready for A&P book--got that, too (then learned that an e-version of it came with my book..ugh!). I LOVE my textbooks online tools. I've been taking lots of practice tests, doing games, etc. The more ways I can play with this info, the easier it will absorb into this thick head of mine!!
