I do not believe Trump ever said that he'll only do it the "Russian way". It was very clear the focus was on negotiating a resolution.  Zelensky was focused on deviance and getting back at Russia.  Which is an understandable emotion for him to have. 

In fact Trump reiterated that during the meeting that he want peace and end the war. If it makes you feel better to believe Trump is doing for any another reason than "saving lives" lives will be saved. Perhaps Zelensky is caught up with emotion that he thinks getting everything he wants is worth more of his soldier lives? Perhaps some democrats do as well? 

Nothing Trump does or doesn't do matters. It's all about opposition to Trump. To hell with ending wars and saving lives.  Because saving lives doesnt count if Trumps involved. Status quo.......

Trump nauseates many of us.  His cabinet is also nauseating.  We're all in the same boat.  Some of the members just like being in this boat.

There was no negotiating during that Oval Office visit, only demands for obeisance. Trump cares about Russian lives, period. We don't hear him telling Putin to stop fighting, only Zelenskyy. Putin bombs cities, hospitals and schools, not to mention nuclear plants.
 

Trump is a thug and a bully; Vance is a word that would violate TOS, as is Rubio and Graham.

Zelenskyy has consistently held  that Ukraine is not attacking Russia for the sake of revenge or retaliation, but is focused on defending its people and land

Trump campaigned on ending the war in Ukraine. The American people elected him. So that's exactly what he is doing. He doesn't care if democrats don't like it and neither do the American people. Hence the democrats lost the election. Funding a overseas war is not America First. Sorry that makes Zelensky and you upset. 

Wait. Or is this another "Russian Collusion " 2.0?  Considering what happened last time this accusation was made, don't expect me to take you seriously.

He's in the middle of a negotiation. Russian hasn't refused anything put on the table yet. The only non cooperating party is Zelensky. 

How does Trump "tell Zelensky to stop fighting" while currently the US is still funding a war they do not want to be funding and trying to end it? 

What does Trump care about Russian lives? Is he just simping for his bro? If you don't have a at least a theory or probable explanation, sit down.

Just throw a load of stuff on the wall and see what sticks, right? 
 

Ever since Russia occupied the eastern territories in 2014, they have had the option to retreat, and end the conflict. Ever since they invaded in 2022, attempting to overthrow the country, they could have retreated and saved hundreds of thousands of lives. No one forced them to try to overthrow a sovereign nation.
