Police said a friend of the nurse found the man, and he may have been there as long as two days.
Good heavens! Persistant little cuss, wasn't he?

This is why I never hand over all my keys when I take it to the car shop, either.

WOW..that is scary. I never thought about handing my keys over when i get my car repaired or for valet. Now i will think twice. Thank God the woman was unharmed.

Jeesh! What is wrong with some people?! I don't hand over my house keys to anyone (psychotic ex made me way more cautious) but if someone tried to get in the house, Bing and Trax would lick them to death before I had a chance to call 911.

Well, we hand our keys over to the local mechanic all the time. But our house keys are not on the key ring because we have NO house keys. Our house was built in the 1920's and used those old-fashioned keys and they've been lost for years.

Same here. I don't remember if it was internet legend or a news story, but several years ago I read about a simiar kind of story regarding a mechanic or garage employee, and have never given them anything but my car key since. You can't be too careful.
