what will you be doing over the break?

Published

homework of course, but anybody have fun plans? I'm so thrilled to have 5 full days with no school!!!!

Today we (my son and I) slept in until 9  and just laid around until the afternoon. Then went grocery shopping for tomorrows pies and sweet potatoes.

I'm going to watch the Macy's parade, watch OU vs OSU (my first full football game all season) and hang up my pictures and curtains. We moved in the week before NS started and I haven't had any time to do it yet

I'll also be studying for ATI (first one is right before Christmas) reading up on IV's and pharm and finishing some drug cards for clinicals.

So what are your plans?

I'll be eating a good turkey lunch tomorrow but then its study, study, study. I've got a renal/GI test Tues, presentation Wed., and lab practical Fri.! I can't wait for Dec 10 (last day of semester)!:yeah:

Today we were out of school at 2:30. We had review for next week's musculoskeletal exam scheduled from 1 to 5, and the instructor told us last week, "I have 28 people coming on Thursday. There is no way I'm gonna be here until 5:00!" :chuckle

Tonight I'm relaxing with my kitties, the internet, and a gin & tonic, while my husband plays Warcraft. Tomorrow we're going to my parents' house and will be there from 11 am until we get tired, probably 8 or 9 pm. On Friday I am NOT going shopping; my mom and I are taking my 2 nephews, age 10 and 7, to the zoo while THEIR mom goes shopping. Saturday I might venture out with my husband to look at cell phones; it's been 2 years since our last upgrade and my phone keeps taking pictures of my pocket and telling me the memory is full. Sunday I'll be studying for the abovementioned musculoskeletal test and making a neurosensory concept map. Monday it's back to clinicals.

Im working 4 nights in a row! =(

Plus i have 2 care plans due next week

And another exam on Thursday.

I'm baking pies tonight (cherry and pumpkin!) and tomorrow I am going to celebrating thanksgiving with my parents and my sister and her husband. We are planning on playing scrabble and listening to big band music (tradition after living with our Grandfather for 16 years), and then eat tons of good food, followed by a long movie. I have absolutely no intentions of studying tomorrow, just fun.

Alas, we have a neuro test on Monday, so it's back to the books on Friday. I also work every day this weekend. If only the illusion of freedom could last!

:twocents:

Study:cry:

We have a full schedule next week.

Tests, presentations and critical thinking exercises/activities.

...but we only have 2 more weeks. :dncgbby:

Working on a mood stabilizers education plan for my peers, a "serious" teaching plan for the psych patients, starting the studying required for my psych drug test and final, antagonizing the instructor who makes practicum placements because I'm impatient, and working last night 11-7, tonight 11-7 and tomorrow 11-7. Thank gods I have off Saturday and Sunday. But that's normal, right? *giggles* I've been up a little too long without any sleep.
