i know how you feel. i am struggling with pharm as well. in our program you need a 75 or higher to pass and so far my test scores have been a 80 and a 77. i was so upset because i really studied hard:no:!!! you just have to be confident and dust yourself off and keep striving to do the best you can. good luck to you and your studies!!

tomorrow i will not touch anything!!!!! i plan on sleeping till about 12 then spending time with my boyfriend's family. then friday i will be back to studying for a pharm,med surge and psych test that are coming up soon. happy holidays to everyone!!!

okay so this is my third week of nursing school and there is already drama. i started a study group with five girls from my class and its been going well. every sunday we meet up and study together....but lately ive been noticing that they gossip alot. two of the girls also dont like one of the girls in my class and they constantly talk about her to me and others. i on the other hand do not have a problem with this girl and i will continue to talk to her on a daily basis. anyway my question is how do i slowly distance myself from these girls without starting any problems??? im starting to see that they are really loud and obnoxious at times (even during lecture they are constantly laughing and talking about inappropiate things). so i moved my seat to the front of the class. i dont want my instructors to get the wrong idea about me because i hang out with them. they really are nice girls, but i just want to remain neutral and friendly with everyone. what should i do????:(

i hear ya!!!! im in week three,and we've already had three tests this week. i only got a 83 on both so im not too happy. didn't get the other one back yet. guess ill just have to study more. (eventhough ive been doing that all week) im determined to become a nurse and have my eyes on the prize so i wont be giving up. good luck to you!!!!!!

hello everyone!!!! i also started on aug 25th and ive already has two tests! one in med term and the other in math. (got a 96 on both!!!!) i haven't really found nursing school that hard,but i think i might be eating my words also. i have three tests next week in math, a&p and nursing fundamentals so i will be studying all week. i refuse to get anything below a 90. good luck to everyone in the program!!!ill be updating next week

hello everyone!!!!! so exciting to hear how everyones day went. my day was awesome. we met all of th instructors (who by the way were extremely nice) and went over the syllibus which weighed more than me!!!lol. got fingerprinted for our school id's, did some assesment tests,got our pda's and nurse packet which came with a bunch of cool stuff. (light pen, stethiscope sp?, bpcuff etc. it felt like it was christmas !!!!! all i could do was look though everything and go ooohhhh and ahhhhh!!!!tomorrow is when we really get going, although we wont be getting our books till wed:crying2:. not much homework tonight...just have to look over the syllibus and get a general idea of each course. ill update everyone later on this week. toodlez:)

i start tomorrow too!!!!! im so excited!!!! lots of cleaning to be done so i've been quite busy today. i will make sure to post how my day went tomorrow also. good luck to everyone!!!

i feel sorry for this new rn. she has alot to learn. luckily for her you held your composure...if she would've made that statement in front of me i probably would not have handled it like a lady and made her think twice about what comes out of her mouth next time.

okay...so i start my lpn program on aug 25 and i am so ready. i already got all my paperwork (shots, backround check etc) done. i did my class for my cpr, first aid certification on june 12 and still haven't recieved my certification and my school's deadline for all the paperwork is aug 1st. i called the company that i took the class from three weeks ago and a man assured me that my certificates were mailed out already and i should be recieving them in a couple days...well i still haven't. i called my school on friday explaining the situation to them and asked them if it would be alright if i had the company fax over a paper showing that i did indeed finish both classes and i am just waiting on my certificates and the admissions office said that was fine. i called the company back and asked them to fax over the letter and they agreed. ..well i called my school this morning and they haven't recieved the fax!!!! i called the company again and they swear they faxed it, but say that they will fax it again for the second time since my school haven't recieved it. that was at 11:00 this morning. i called my school at around 2 and they told me a fax never came through, so i called the company back and the man who i have been talking to this whole time had supposidly "went home early" so i have to call back tomorrow. i am stressing this because i am the type of person that likes to get things done on time. i have already paid half of my tuition and i don't want anything messing up my chances of going to school.sorry guys, i just had to vent. sigh..okay i feel a little better.

hi webbabe... i start school on aug 25 and i will be working 16 hours a week. (sat and sun only). i am 21 years old and have no kids, not married....yet!! i still live with my mom and although im still on her insurance until i turn 24 i prefer to work and help her out with the bills a little. i think we will be able to manage. i want this so bad and failure is not an option. good luck to u!!!!

hello!!!! i also start lpn school in aug. aug 25 to be exact. i am sooooo nervous. i live at home with my mom and have no children. i am currently working as a cashier and i hate it!!!! i am counting down the days till i start school (i will only be working on the weekends). i know it will be alot of hard work, but i am so determined to become a nurse. failure is not an option. my program is 1 year long and i will be grduating in aug 09. good luck to everyone and their studies!!!! :stdnrsrck:
