homework of course, but anybody have fun plans? I'm so thrilled to have 5 full days with no school!!!!
Today we (my son and I) slept in until 9 and just laid around until the afternoon. Then went grocery shopping for tomorrows pies and sweet potatoes.
I'm going to watch the Macy's parade, watch OU vs OSU (my first full football game all season) and hang up my pictures and curtains. We moved in the week before NS started and I haven't had any time to do it yet
I'll also be studying for ATI (first one is right before Christmas) reading up on IV's and pharm and finishing some drug cards for clinicals.
So what are your plans?
I didnt think I would be doing anything exciting, but last night my friend and I realized we NEEDED to do something nonschool related to maintain our sanity, even though we have so much to do for school. So we put our books away, put on some music, drank some malibu:redpinkhe, and ... well... had a blast! I definately needed that.
On this lovely turkey day I was supposed to work, meaning I would miss dinner with the fam, but they called me and said I didnt need to come in. So I am very happy I get to eat Turk with the family...
Starting tomorrow, I am hitting the books again. I think after last night and today I'll feel a bit more rejuvenated. Yay!
Hope everyone is having a nice break & also catching up on some work...
Gosh! no break for me. I have to finish my paper and do my discussions online. I am presently doing my careplans and some other stuff. I am so tired. I have two children to care for and I am basically a single parent. But God is good for giving me another chance to be a nurse and I am most thankful for this. My school is good at working with parents and older students like myself. I thank God for another day. Four classes to go and I will be done!
I took Thanksgiving "off" to enjoy with my family. Baked banana bread and blueberry and pumpkin pies with my 3 yr old all morning, ate turkey with my hubby and kids in the afternoon. Put up our xmas tree and inside decorations after dinner, and rounded out the day watching "Fred Claus" with the family until bedtime after that. It was a fantastic, just really fantastic, day.
But the two days prior I studied my butt off and the day after I worked and tried to study. This weekend I am working again and am back to studying. I have AP, Nursing, and Med Calc to study for. Fun stuff.
spending time with the kids and looking forward to the next break (christmas) where we get 23 days off, planning that break that includes a snowboard vacation. woohoo, things to look forward to.
oh, and i guess I will look at some NCLEX practice questions at my leisure. also going to the gym to make up for the extra eating.
