I'm going to have a special plague made for all you linguists. Dogen's name will be first.
(ETA-I'm not really planning to kill everyone with the plague)

This thread should come with a warning! It just triggered my grammar OCD. My head hurts!
Irregardless, we linguists will continue in our quest, per say, to rid the world of grammar mistakes. Don't let it phase you.

Or how about "exasperation" of copd, etc, drives me nuts! Common people
(Well, to be fair, it is pretty exasperating ... :))

This brought back memories from decades ago of one of my co-workers, whose patients ate "bowels of jello".
As a side bar, she would also document how many pillows and blankets she provided, and how many times the patient changed position while they slept.
This was a lloooonnngg time ago lol.

I hate it when a COPD exasperation makes my pts O2 stats get low.

This.
I have a colleague who insists on saying her pt is "destatting." Makes me want to tear my hair out. ðŸ˜

Yeah, I noticed 'consigned' in a few posts recently too. But if you want to get into English errors in these posts ... as someone else said, it just about makes my head explode. Or another way to put it is, I don't even want to try to go down that path. I will say that in one of the top posts right now, it's worded so badly that I don't even understand what they're asking.

I know I'm going to loose it .
It's so fustrating.
The funniest typo/bad spelling error I've seen at work was in a MAR where someone was being given a statin for 'Hyperlipdevil'. Now that's something you don't want to contract, lemme tell ya.
