I'm two days away from being done with A&P I, and A&P II is a 6 week class online this summer.
Who will be taking A&P II as well?
Digestive and Respiratory right now. I am so burned out in this class. We have to know all the Respiratory Volumes and Capacities. I can memorize the formulas but the definitions are hard to remember.
Im also having a hard time agreeing with the information that is included and excluded from the powerpoints. How is remembering every different tissue layer of the alimentary tract going to be helpful? We had histology in A&P 1.
Taking A&P2 over 4 weeks wasn't as bad as I thought it may be. It wasn't trivially easy but it also wasn't incredibly difficult either. A modest amount of studying (20~ hours a week) plus the 16 hours of lecture/lab easily secured rank #1.
My comprehensive final is tomorrow and I have to score a 56% to finalize my A. Nothing better than having a stress-free finals week.
I'm off!
My class starts today. I am currently unable to login to use the website, but I have the IT help desk working with me to fix that. I have emailed my professor (and have received a response), so I have everything that I need to start out. One week from today and I'll have my first exam.
The condensed classes have got to be leaving something out. Im in a full semester class and we barely manage this class. The Lab is impossible to understand even if you go to both the labs every week. My instructor pulled one of the brandnew 'keys' last night after we proved to her that it was all wrong. They dont label the models or have keys for half the models and that is what we get tested on!
I have a test on Digestive and Respiratory next week. We were even given a 6 page handout on Respiratory Functional tests along with everything we have to know from the book. We have to figure out if someone is normal, has respiratory restriction or obstruction based on values.
Oh Anne36, that sounds terrible! It sounds like your professor is not very good at all. My labs have been fun so far. Doing equilibrium & balance tests on each other. Taste tests with eyes & nose closed. Today we did blood pressures & listened to heart sounds. We also look at a lot slides - that's the toughest part for me during the lab test.
