Who's taking A&P II this summer? (2010)

Published

I'm two days away from being done with A&P I, and A&P II is a 6 week class online this summer.

Who will be taking A&P II as well?

hello all. i am looking for a online summer a&p 2 course. i don't care about the cost but i need it to be online and would like non-proctored exams so i can complete everything online. i work 4 pt jobs and i really need online so i can complete the class during my night shift. if the exams need to be proctored do you think they would allow the librarian at my hospitals library be the proctor? thanks!

i don't know if every school is different, but my proctored exams had to be at a testing facility at a cc or university here in tennessee. your best bet is to call your school's advisors where you plan on taking your online course and ask if what you want to do is possible. it seems that most schools have a list of proctor's you have to choose from though. and also, i only had my mid term and final proctored, the rest of the tests i could take online anytime within the 48 hour window the instructor gave us. hope this helps.

Raising my hand here! I'm taking A&P II this summer, 11 weeks on tues and thurs from 5:30-10:30. I hope I can pull through it guys!! Are the sticky on the sticky thread for A&P II as well?

I'm also raising my hand. Just finished A&P I - :D and am taking a break. Will take the 8 week A&P II. I heard it's harder than the first. Great professor, so I hope it isn't too stressful.

Interestingly, I hear the opposite. That its not as hard as the first. But honestly, I don't really find A&P hard. Its just a hell of a lot of information to absorb so you have to put in so much time into it. I was studying a minimum of 3 hrs a day with A&P 1 so I know I'll be studying a lot more to complete A&P II in 6 weeks. I've already started reading. Wanna be done with at least 2-3 chapters before class starts next week so I'm ahead of the game.

broome community college (ny) has an online course without proctored exams. everything is online, including lab, and everything is open book. i am taking this class. i have emailed the professor a couple of times and have had very positive interactions with her. she also has great reviews on ratemyprofessors.com.

We had our first lab last night. I would like some input. The microscopes were set up with slides and we were supposed to identify a neutrophil, a monocyte, a lymphocyte, an erythrocyte. I got the erythrocyte and neutrophil. there was one irregular shaped cell that looked like it was mostly nucleus. Dont know if it was a monocyte or lymphocyte. That was pretty much all I could gt out of it. They dont tell us what we are looking at , we get to see it 1 time, and then test on it in like 3 weeks. The cells do not look picutre perfect like in the book.

Im so frustrated, there was a slide show that was the same way. The stain color was all very bland, and it couldnt help us at all, also the lobes did not count the way they are described in the book. The basophil is supposed to be bilobe and it looked trilobed. I cant figure out the answers in Lab, it is 2 hours long to do about 8 activities. I dont have a photographic memory, how can I remember all this in 3 weeks after seeing it 1 time?

Hi guys!

I'm currently suffering through A&P2 after having to drop down to 13 credits due to an extreme amount of stress. I will be taking A&P3 this summer, though! Skippeee. xD

A&P 3?

A&P 3?

I'm on the quarter system, so my A&P is broken down into three instead of two. A&P1 covers basics, chem, integumentary, and muscles, while A&P2 covers nervous system, endocrine, and reproductive, and A&P3 covers whatever's left.

Hmmm...interesting.

Hmmm...interesting.

We have three graded periods of 11 weeks each compared to two of 16, so...that's why it's different. Have you never seen that type of system before?

I've heard of it...but never in relation to taking 3 A&Ps.

I think it's weird because most colleges run on the semester system. My high school had quarters...10 weeks each.
