Who Has Already Started Packing Their Backpacks?

Just wondering if I'm insane or if everyone else is getting into fall semester mode. This will be my last year of nursing school and I'm getting so excited. I went to Staples today and bought $40.00 worth of supplies. My backpack is already packed up and I don't even start until Aug 31st.

I hope this year goes by as fast as the others have. Now I just need to buy my books, which the college book store decides not to put them on the shelves until the week of classes so we can't get the ISBN# and order them cheaper online. Oh well I won't let them break my spirits. Fall semester here we come!

Last week I went and picked up the only used book the school had for one of my classes. I have my A&P book at work with me everyday (although i haven't opened it as much as I should). I have a wedding the first weekend in Aug-after that I can focus on organizing my study space and packing my backpack. But I have been waiting since June for August to arrive, and we're almost THERE!!!

How true that is!! LOL My kids start school next week and I am both relieved and a little sad. It will be back to a routine, which will help everyone, I think :)

Today began tax free weekend and I too stocked up on a whole bunch of school supplies!!! I went to Walmart,Target, and Office Depot. I kept getting frustrated b/c of all the little bad kids running around getting the good pens and pencils!!!LOL Just kidding. I love back to school shopping. All the new paper, pens and pencils, rulers, protracters..oops I forgot I'm going to nursing school I better take that Spiderman folder back.LOL Tonight I shall begin organize night. Well I have nothing really to pack since I reuse the same pens and pencils over, but I did buy another binder for my 4th semester of nursing! I can't believe that I'll only have one semester left!!

And all this time I thought it was JUST me!! haha! I haven't gotten the supplies yet BUT I have bought three of my nursing books and have started reading one of them - mmmhmmm...yep....i'm a little anxious! Oh and don't think that just because I haven't gotten my supplies that I am not part of the supply-a-holic club...the truth is...I haven't found the PERFECT supplies yet...uh-huh, you thought YOU guys were bad!!

Oh new office supply discovery. Has anyone seen the post it highlighter with the post it flags in it. I got one and I love it. So convenient I can highlight and flag my pages at the same time.
