Who Has Already Started Packing Their Backpacks?

Published

Just wondering if I'm insane or if everyone else is getting into fall semester mode. This will be my last year of nursing school and I'm getting so excited. I went to Staples today and bought $40.00 worth of supplies. My backpack is already packed up and I don't even start until Aug 31st.

I hope this year goes by as fast as the others have. Now I just need to buy my books, which the college book store decides not to put them on the shelves until the week of classes so we can't get the ISBN# and order them cheaper online. Oh well I won't let them break my spirits. Fall semester here we come!

I haven't started packing my own backpack, but I CAN'T WAIT to pack up my children's! :chuckle

Hi Jen2,

Yep!! I"m feeling it too!! :uhoh21: Especially since the weather has been so fall-like in the north east this July. I've been reviewing my A&P, and still want to review 1st semester nursing. They also gave us some assignments to do over the summer - F&E, BLS, dosage, etc. I start on Aug 30th.

This time next year I'll be..umm...one year closer to graduating!! Woo hoo!!

No, you're not insane, at least not any more than the rest of us. Truth be told, I've been missing school since the first week of June. ;)

Enjoy the rest of your summer!!!

I here ya on that one. I actually started doing drug calsulations today, because I just remembered that we will have our Wonderful once a semester math test (the do or die one) the first week of school.

Yup Yup I am all ready packed and lugging it to work with me. :p I am going over drug calculations and A&P and school doesn't start until Aug. 16

I am soooo ready! Haven't packed a thing yet, but I'm sure I will very soon!

As far as my children...please! Oh Lordy please! Let the time pass a bit quicker! hahahahaha! :rotfl:

I don't even know exactly what I will be needing, so I am going to wait til after the first day of school. But, like someone said above....this fall weather has me itching to get ready for fall semester.

This is my first year taking my pre-req's (my first year of college too), so I just today went out and got a new backpack, plus some school supplies! It may sound crazy, but I can't wait to fill it with books, I'm so excited about starting. (I start in late September, so I have a ways to go).

I'm so nervous about forgetting important supplies for school, though! I was in Staples, wondering around, completely at a loss for what I needed. Maybe it's because this is my first year of college. I'm so excited and so nervous at the same time!

I haven't started packing my backpack yet. I"m still trying to decide if I'm going to use binders or spiral notebooks. I am very excited though!!!! Hurry up Sept. 7th and get here!!!!

Wow, you are excited, aren't you? :)

I'm using the small bedroom in the house as my study room--my supplies and new textbooks are in there--all over the place. That's one thing that I must do very soon is go through the old stuff and file it away, tidy the desk up and get my new stuff front and center!

I haven't packed my bag yet, but I did purchase my syllabus and a few folders. (Any other Lisa Frank fans out there?) I still need a couple new binders, notebooks, and a stapler than can handle 20+ pieces of paper. Our clinical paperwork is a nightmare!

No, not yet. Going to throw my books in the car with me when I go on vacation this weekend, though. Need to go over med math before the drug calc quiz, which is the first thing I'll have to do when I go back...

Gotta get organized, gotta get organized, gotta get organized...
