Does anyone have a great web site for the drug calculations? I will be starting my first semester August 23 and am so excited. I don't have a school bag yet, but do have some supplies, pencils, paper, white out and stuff. I too am very excited and can't wait to get started. Good luck to everyone!!

here i was thinking i was being a real nerd in getting all my nursing books 3 weeks before school starts (august 19th.) i did this every semester but i'm especially excited since this is my last semester (whoo whoo!) i can't wait for december 16th ! (graduation baby!) i am also a office supply shopaholic. even before i got into nursing school, i loved the time of year when walmart brought all the school supplies. made me always wonder, "why didn't they haove this stuff when i was in school?" good luck to all of you newbies about to start and those of us about to graduate !

My bag is packed, books are bought, and am almost done with the assignments given at orientation. Excited to start, still a little nervous though. Can't believe I'm starting nursing school in just 4 weeks. :uhoh3: :balloons:

I just bought most of my school supplies yesterday and I finally won an Ebay auction for a backpack so once I get that I can start packing! I have already put filler paper and dividers in my binder though. Does that count? :chuckle

Just wondering if I'm insane or if everyone else is getting into fall semester mode. This will be my last year of nursing school and I'm getting so excited. I went to Staples today and bought $40.00 worth of supplies. My backpack is already packed up and I don't even start until Aug 31st.
I hope this year goes by as fast as the others have. Now I just need to buy my books, which the college book store decides not to put them on the shelves until the week of classes so we can't get the ISBN# and order them cheaper online. Oh well I won't let them break my spirits. Fall semester here we come!

Don't you worry, I'm a nerd too. I've got my notebooks labeled and everything. It makes me feel less anxious if I can be organized right when school starts...and I find that it's easier to stay organized if I start out organized.

Don't you just love staples??? My parents should have bought stock in them and walmart when i was born...to compensate for the outrageous amounts of money i spend in there

Glad to know I'm not the only excited one! I have been researching the lowest prices on my books. I want to hurry & get them so I can start reading. Then (hopefully) I will know what's going on when the first day arrives!

Hehe my rolling backpack is still in the trunk of the car right where I left it following my final exams back in May! Maybe it's time to bring it out seeing as school is going to start in OMG :eek: something like two weeks. I'm ready, no I'm not, yes I am, no I'm not I'll revisit the issue later.

I start on August 23rd, and I packed my backback last night - I had to laugh when I saw your post this morning LOL!

I've decided that my cheapo stethoscope just won't cut it, so I'll probably go and get another one next week, then I just have to sew my nursing patches on my uniform and I'm all set to goooooooooooooooooo. yay!

I bought a few supplies over a month ago. And one of my books last week. Have to wait for financial aid to get the rest of them. I don't have my backpack packed yet because I will probably get a new one. But I do have all of my stuff stacked up neatly on my desk! Here is what i have so far, highlighters, post it notes, post it tabs, pencils and pens, Swedish/English dictionary and notebooks and folders. I have been a office/school supply freak my whole life!
