Who else is having fun with school supplies?

I'm just a few weeks away from my first semester in the nursing program and am loving all the school supplies with which I get to play. Besides the regular folders and stuff, there's mini-folders and nursing gadgets as well. I wish I had my backpack already so I could pack it!

Who else is enjoying it?

Last year while I was taking my pre reqs i went overboard buying school supply's Wal mart had single subject note books for 5 cents. i bought 6 boxes (i gave 2 boxes away to friends who decided to go back to college this year as a welcome to school box) I also bought a bunch of paper at staples for 25 cents a pack and have more than i think i will use in the next 2 years, I love getting school supply's cheap; I am such a bargin shopper; The only thing I need is a new bookbag I used to have the carry on your shoulder kind but I know i need a big one this semester!

Glad to know I'm not alone in the school supply excitement boat! Just bought some cute binders the other day @ TJ Maxx of all places for $3 a piece. They're all different colors, one for each class

Remember crazy for Coco Puffs (you all might be a bit young)? I am crazy for highlighters. Frankly, I don't need any school supplies. Of course, that hasn't stopped me before!

I thought it was just me!! My husband thinks there's something wrong with me. I have to buy something every time I go to Walmart, even if it's just pens or something little. I obsessed with highlighters too. Something about color coding keeps me organized. Sooo glad to know I'm not the only one =D

AHH! I found my homeeeeee in this thread! I once again went to Walmart today, sans money, as I currently have zilch in my bank account, and proceeded to wander yet again JUST to see if they had anything new that I missed a few weeks ago (they didn't!) I have to get paid again before I can buy my beautiful purple binder, and a zillion highlighters, and such.

The funny part is.... I'm SO excited for school, and the thought of buying school supplies makes me jump up and down, but after a week... I'm going to be cowering in my bed begging for it to end... hahaha. I'm sure I won't be the only one.

To the person who made the comment about fine point pens, I'm with you...I either use Pilots fine point or RSVP's fine point. I love them both and they are the only pens I will use, I'm a huge weirdo when it comes to pens, I get super upset if someone steals them...ha. I also love highlighters and my dry erase marker board with all sorts of colors. I can't wait to shop :) I'm still making my list.

i always just love to browse stuff. i go into the bookstore, knowing i don't have any money, just to chill in the nursing section. I get so happy. As for school supplies, there is nothing like the new packages. I get so excited opening them on the first day of school. fresh binder and notebook smell. ahhh so good

What about the flouresent sticky tabs for marking the the pages in a textbook! I love those things!!! I have to grab a pack...or two...or three of those when I get my supplies!!
