  1. 14 weeks- two were classroom, and 12 on the floor!
  2. self scheduling with mandatory weekends!
  3. if it sounds to good to be true it normally is. that seems like a lot of money for 4 days a week!
  4. we had 50 questions on every exam except finals, they were 100!
  5. It depends on what college you go to. I had to take intro to algebra and survey of math for my associates, I'm working on some classes toward my BSN so I have taken intermediate algebra and going to take college algebra. Every semester we had to take a dose calculation test and have a 90 or better or we couldn't continue! Hope this helps study hard and with God all things are possible!
  6. I feel some times in life I have rose colored glasses on, In my dream world I graduate, Pass the boards and start work. Well I passed my boards and I'm still looking for a job. I called and scored an interview, the person in charge of interviews called the day before and canceled stating the hospital was full and asked me to call back Monday. Well I've called Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday and now I feel I'm just being pushed off and rejected. I live in a very small area and would have to travel an hour to get another job. I've applied at hospitals farther away and get the same rejection e-mail. I'm loosing steam. I've prayed about it and what is meant to be will be!
  7. The hospital where I did my clinical rotations at gave the lpn-rn students 1/2 credit if they were a lpn for 10 years it counted as 5 years rn.
  8. Mine is simple its the day I became Mrs Anderton 2/2/05
  9. I also graduated in May, some of the people in our class tested the following week! My original date was the June 24th but I was freaking out and called to see when cancellation dates went threw and took the next available weekend date! I'm so glad its over now on to find a job :)
  10. I was a nervous wreck up until the night before the test. My husband took me out on a nice date we came home and I decided not to study any more. The next morning we woke up and headed for the testing site 2 hours away. We got there a few hours before the test was scheduled I was so calm that it scared me how calm my nerves were. (I always woke up at the crack of dawn the morning of test went to starbucks and looked over my notes one more time!) I went and did the test had 75 question when I walked out I was scared because I thought it was hard. I did the pvt and got the good pop up. This Tuesday my name was on the bon! I did a lot of questions (ncsbn, kaplan, and a few nclex books and drug cards!)
  11. My license was on the BON website for 3 hours before my "quick results" were up! It saved me 8 dollars and I still have the letters RN behind my name! Good luck
  12. I promise I thought the same thing. There was no way I passed and just yesterday my license was on BON!
  13. I thought it was all going to be a dream, or even I'd be the only ont the trick didn't work on but today on the bon is my name and license I'm so happy! Thanks for all the good wishes from everyone I love allnurses!
