I really like my iPod Touch (or in turn the iPhone.) I have Davis's Drug Guide and Instant ECG which are two really cool apps for nurses (and nursing students) but there are a ton more out their for nurses and I really like the iPod Touch/iPhone interface and all the apps. available for it.

At one of my clinical sites I was advised by a nurse that she stopped using hers, and used the facility database so that she could point to the facility software as her source for guidance... eg drug information. Totally understand that one. This was ICU, and there were many computers available. On other floors you were always looking for an open one.
thanks everyone for the great feedback......i will check out iphone. I am seeing more units restricting pda, especially ones with camera phones for good reason I guess. PDAs are great especially if you work registry because they allow me to retrieve info like code for med rooms, common procedures that are unique to that facility....etc. I was wondering if could sync all my PDA information (address, memo, dates) from my ol Sony Clie PDA to the Iphone?

I was wondering which PDA phone ER Nurses are using out there, reliability, pros-cons of the device. If not a phone PDA, is there a PDA that you would recommend.
