I am working on my future class schedule, and was wondering, what has been the most difficult pre-req that you've taken/or are currently taking? What makes/made it particularly difficult?
My pre-reqs consist of : college writting1 , fund. of speech, anatomy & lab, Physiology & lab, microbiology, psychology, growth & development, sociology & data processing concepts
I'm curious, what are yours?
Thanks in advance!
Another one for A&P I. The lecture and lab are like two classes. The lecture focuses on the physiology (function) and the lab focuses on the anatomy (form). I don't think I've ever worked so hard in just one class. If you don't memorize the lab material such as the skeletal bones during the 3 hour period, then you had better come back to the lab during unused time. Otherwise, you can mess up on practical exams.
for me I'd have to say micro. If you are kind of weak in science, then this would be the class that would give you the problem. It's hard to believe how glucose can be broken down, and oh don't forget to memorize that glucose, ATP formula. You will know what I mean when you take the class. And another thing, pick a good table in lab, you know the table who always gets the answers!!!! thats the ticket!!!
I'm taking micro now and I think its harder then A&P I and 2 was. I have an exam comming up monday covering 5 units about everything from microbial requirements for life to reproduction. All the different steps for transcription, translation, mutation, what types of temp they like, oxygen requiements, etc, etc, etc.........aughhhhhhh!!!!!! B.T.H

Patho..although I had to transfer due to hubby being military..and it is not a pre req for the program I am in now.
Of all the things that are a prereq for the program I am in now..I would say AP1 would have been the hardest (I liked AP2 a lot better - but got good grades in both)
However Patho made AP look like a kindergarten class. (I and 8 other ppl got a B, no one got an A - over 70% failed!)
