  1. Isnt USC university hospital a Tenet hospital? Have you heard anything bad about USC?
  2. I was wondering what kind of duties a student nurse do as an employee in a hospital. I was thinking of applying at a hospital as a student nurse while I go through school. Do they pass meds? AM care? Dressing changes? Injections? or is it like being a CNA or LVN/LPN? The reason is because it would be a great experience, help get rid of the nervousness during clinicals and they pay around $12-14/hr (per-diem). Please respond if you know anything about working as a student nurse or is one. thanks!
  3. Thanks A Bunch!!!
  4. Does anyone know of any dialysis tech/patient care technician schools or programs in SCal? Or even a website?? Thanks
  5. I did hear that it is very expensive to attend, but not that long of a waiting period. Sinces it's expensive and a private school, the waiting list is usually not long. I also heard that it was a great school, tough, but great!! I tried applying last year and they said that I was able to start the following fall, but the cost was toooooo much.
  6. Im not sure..but in LA county I heard its like $20 for a new RN grad and $12 for a new LVN. Please correct me if im wrong. It just seems too little. Thanks a bunch!!
