My term starts January 9th. I'm taking General Chemistry and Human Growth and Development. I have finished all my prerequisites, but I am retaking these classes that I first took in the 1980's, to turn "B's" into "A's" just in case I don't get accepted into the summer Accelerated BSN program. Then I can reapply in the Fall hopefully with a 4.0 prerequisite GPA. Why does it have to be so difficult to get into nursing school????

I'll be starting in 2 days (can't wait). This thread takes me back 2 years ago when I first saw this site and started planning to be a nurse. Now I'm a part of a community of nurses to be, doing it. Hope everyone has a great semester!

Our 'winter session' is winding down on 1/15 (I am currently taking Micro w/Lab..semester worth of work crammed into 4 wks, 2 days a week, 8 hrs per day..ughh).
Spring semester starts 1/17, I'm taking A&P II and my LPN to RN transition classes (2 of them). When that is done all I have left to take of the non-nursing courses is my humanities elective to do which will be take in the summer but I'll be taking several summer classes to go toward my RN to BSN. And then the Fall I start year 2 of the nursing classes. FINALLY!
