So have I.

me too

I know GrnTea is very disdainful of WGU, so everything s/he says about it, I read with that filter.

Well, after how they treated me, I guess I should no longer have anything good to say about them either. I used to be a proponent when they first appeared on the scene, but the disorganization and lack of advisor competence did me in.

I may be the only one, but I do not find the articles resonate with me, they seem more superficial gloss than a deep understanding of nursing.

Yeah, that's kind of how I've felt about many of them as well. I feel like, with a lot of them, like it's a nurse writing for the laypeople, rather than a nurse writing for other nurses. Superficial is a good way to put it. Contrived is another way I would put it.

Of course, I would never publicly criticize individual authors.

As far as those articles that I personally felt were valuable, resonated with me, etc, are those that address real world issues or questions that nurses and students have - particularly Commuter's articles I've found very helpful and informative.

I'm glad there is a low cost online option like for those who want or need a BSN though I haven't used them for a BSN. With the high cost of college tuition a low priced option is wonderful and necessary and I like the flexibility and go at your own pace option! If I ever need a BSN they are probably the route I would take unless I had a free scholarship to a brick and mortar college. lol
