depends in what part of the country you work and also the state you work in--even for that matter the part of the state you work.
for instance, the pay scale in chicago-which is in the northern part of illinois is much higher than downstate.
sorry i can't help more.
just remember that when you have a higher rate of pay you will probably have a higher cost of living.

In Indiana I made $20/hr as a new RN and after 2 years made $25/hr but of course I was the MDS Coordinator. I am now in Florida and was just offered a job making $20/hr which is a cut but I am going to be a staff RN...which is not too bad but I am use to making a certain amount of money bi-weekly.
