What's your favorite pair of nursing shoes?

Which brand and why? For some reason, I've tried NB, Adidas and my feet still hurt!!!! Maybe I need to buy those gel soles or something..

I vote Crocs too !!! And the imitation ones are just as great. Most hospitals here have banned the open toe style but they do make them with no holes. Also Payless makes one in a sneaker style that is just as good.

Like others, I've spent hundreds of dollars on shoes -- from Nike Shox to Z-coil to New Balance to Adidas, K-Swiss, Phat Farm, Ecko, Nurse Mates, Rockers, you name it...

Crocs are the only thing that keep my dogs from barking after 16 hours of running around in the ED... I wouldn't wear anything else. :)

I have to say that i am currently a big fan of my new Dr Martins. I bought them about 3 months ago and after the painful wearing in time they are the most comfortable shoes i own and they look great too.

There a bit pricey but i think there worth it.

Tried on a new shoe called MBT (physiological footwear) when out shopping last night. This shoe was the most comfortable shoe ever!! It actually feels like it has shock absorbers built in so that every pressure point on your foot is softly cushioned. It is suppoded to reduce knee and back stress while promoting better alignment and use of your leg, thigh, and glute muscles. The sad thing was it cost 245 dollars eeeep!! I did not buy the shoes but I am thinking about sitting on my Santa baby's lap and asking for them for christmas. So if you all are out and see these shoes try them on, you will be impressed.

Another vote for New Balance. 608s? or whatever. They conform to my feet pretty well and hold up nicely. I usually get them for $39-$44.

SKETCHERS!!! My feet use to always hurt and it didn't matter what brand until I found Sketchers. It is the only shoe I buy for work. My feet rarely ever hurt.

Crocs! Am a new convert to them, always wore Nike trainers, but after wearing the crocs...no leg ache and my feet feel fab! ( no holes version)

Definitely Danskos. This I say as a person who has plantar fasciitis and heel spurs on both feet, and a ganglion on one foot. I can be on my feet all day, and my feet don't hurt.

Guys, I'm looking for something that it's not too warm, something that doesn't give me a wet sensation to my feet. Do you have some suggestion? Please!!

Now I'm using rubber clogs washble, antistaitc and slip-on with removable insole.

Rockport walking shoes. I have found the nursing shoe companies just don't wear well over time.

Crocs, hands down. I've tried every kind of "nursing shoe" out there, and only Crocs get me through a 12+-hour shift without my feet aching. No blisters, no sweating . . . they wash up like a dream, and the colors are great. I'm a true Crocs believer!

Danskos! Higher priced, but worth every penny. I have never experienced sore feet.
