What Was Your Hardest Topic In Anatomy and Physiology?

Published

I just mentioned on another thread that the hardest class I ever took was Physiology (my school had two separate classes). Got me to thinking... what topic in each of these classes was the hardest for you to learn? For me:

Anatomy - Muscles of the arm and hand (Origins and inserts) :wacky:

Physiology - Kidney function / regulation of blood pressure

Just curious!

I agree with muscles of the arm being difficult for anatomy! My goodness, that was confusing at first. I made a way to remember them though that I'll never forget!!

As for physiology, (My school combines the classes) I'm taking a&pII now, and we're doing kidneys tomorrow! Hopefully I'll get it quick :)

May I ask what was your technique?? :geek:

In anatomy lab the bones was the hardest for me, not so much remembering the bone names but remembering all the different parts and structures of many of the bones. In lecture I had a hard time with electrophysiology, so much to know drove me nuts  but its all over for now until I need it in my nursing courses.

All of it! I loved it though.

Anatomy - I thought bones was fine, I found muscle was tedious.

Physiology - Hormone system made me crazy.

I detested muscle physiology.

The brain in Anatomy

I disliked the nervous & cardiovascular systems. They were very tedious but not in an interesting way.

The endocrine system was hard! It was at the very end of the semester so we flew through it. I don't feel like I have a good grasp on that at all.

The endocrine system was hard for me just because of the vast amount of material you have to learn, and since the endocrine system is connected in some way to every other system and you have to remember ALL of it.:banghead:

I agree- I found kidney function to be hardest. :yuck:
