Something to understand what nurses think about re the Current News and their opinions!

But us older and jaded people did have our day and maybe the torch should be passed or shared.
I sometimes look at my generation and older, the one's that protested along with Martin Luther King, that marched for and got gay rights, that had huge women's marches in the 70's, that marched for a cleaner environment and wonder what happened to us?
The world is still a mess but remember us old tired jaded folks accomplished a lot. The torch has been passed and we expect the same from you.
Nothing beats experience! Nothing!
We need the guidance and support and techniques. Biden will be successful because of the experience he has and the relationships he's cultivated. As will Pelosi and the rest including people like McConnell etc.
Older people often see the big picture because they have been there. I never question anything my father tells me. My mom is sometimes emotionally compromised, but my Dad is always calculating and playing the odds.
Biden has assembled a great team and they are playing games we couldn't even begin to fathom. I have complete trust in them currently. I wish he would get Obama and both Clintons more deeply involved though. Also both Jeb and his brother.
The Clintons and Obama could sort all of the foreign policy stuff out and Biden and Jeb, could deal with the domestic issues. It's how you know that Biden was the right man, because both Jeb and his brother would gladly work with Biden.

"We don't need a leader to follow, an idol to worship, a cult carrying-card." LOL....ever heard of Barack Obama?
Didn't vote for him. Didn't have to. The electoral college in New York makes presidential voting a useless exercise. Why do you waste so much time labeling people? Did you see legions of violent people who supported him? When you concentrate on a particular person's failures, it just shows that you are not reading history as it actually happened. You're just hearing what you want to hear and blocking everything else out. America is not a totalitarian state. We do not walk around with posters of our elected leaders like 4th world states. Until, you know who with his stupid, ugly red trucker hats made in China.

Chill
True conservatives are not Trump supporters. The thoughtful ones have abandoned him and he is left with those who believe in Trumpism which was never conservatism. Until he ran he was pro-one payer health care system and pro abortion rights.

Which is why I support trump. I am a moderate independent. Trump is the most balanced politician we have seen in ages.
The way Trump cut taxes, banned transgendered persons from the military, cut regulations and increased military spending makes him fairly conservative in my view. I think this is one of the reasons that people in congress didn't call him out for his unpresidential way of making things up, is that he did their conservative agenda well.
Overtime definitions tend to change. Now being conservative might mean how closely you are aligned with Trump. With DeSantis now being branded a "true conservative" because he follows his leadership style.
So earlier on we pointed out the hypocrisy of Abbot. Now it's DeSantis's turn

He's hawking a drug from a manufacturer that contributed to his funds!
Republican's supporters are the epitomy of Dumb and Dumber! They are getting grifted from all quarters! And they are still supporting their boys! It's a race to the bottom to see who's the most corrupt!

It's unexplainable. Definitely the most unbalanced. He has no political philosophy and tendencies. He just does what the big pocket donaters tell him to do. He's had no interest politics in his entire life. His libido, narcissism and lack of humility have defined who he is. Put in in the White House and you saw how incredibly uninterested he was in government. It's too hard for his little mind. That's why he loved Ran Paul and MTG and the other loonies that he recognizes across a crowded room.
