  1. If they aren't teaching it then they shouldn't complain about the ban. BTW Teachers pledge to break anti-critical race theory laws (nypost.com) https://nypost.com/2021/07/06/teachers-pledge-to-break-anti-critical-race-theory-laws/
  2. Congrats to people of VA. Seeing parents stand up against CRT and other hateful left rhetoric is amazing.
  3. Financial cost? You mean like shutting down businesses and destroying peoples livelihood? There needs to be a balance
  4. Florida leading the country in lowest covid rates. Great news for the state that encourages freedom.
  5. They choose to ignore it. I have had placed a few members on ignore because of their racist posts. Even though I am Afro-Cuban I still don’t like seeing anyone discriminated against
  6. Fulton and Maricopa audits proved some serious inconsistencies and the “stop the steal” movement had hindered any investigation into whether Biden legitimately won. The Dems wasted 4 years and who knows how much on conspiracy theories yet we can’t have an investigation regarding serious threats to democracy that went on in places like Fulton county. The head of elections resigned for a reason. Windows were blacked out, social media silences anyone questioning results. Who knows who really won.
  7. What were you doing for the 4 years of Dems pushing Russiagate and Qanon nonsense?
  8. Definitely. Russian conspiracy theories, false impeachments, stopping recounts and audits even though the GOP peacefully allowed it after Bush/Gore, racism against Caucasians through things like CRT. There is open racism against whites on this forum on a daily basis yet it’s allowed. It’s become normalized and acceptable be which should be terrifying.
  9. We need to learn from the past. If you look at the modern Democratic Party they are eerily similar to Hitler and the third reich
  10. Its important to note the Democrats strong support for abortions is linked to their longstanding history of racism against African Americans. In the future I think we will look back at the Democrats genocidal push for abortion similarly to how we view Adolf Hitler and the Jews. Abortion: The overlooked tragedy for black Americans | Arizona Capitol Times (azcapitoltimes.com) https://azcapitoltimes.com/news/2020/02/25/abortion-the-overlooked-tragedy-for-black-americans/ "Abortion impacts African Americans at a higher rate than any other population group. In 2011, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention released an Abortion Surveillance Report. According to that report, black women make up 14 percent of the childbearing population. Yet, 36 percent of all abortions were obtained by black women. At a ratio of 474 abortions per 1,000 live births, black women have the highest ratio of any group in the country."
  11. So you still had the Bachelors though. Why didn't you just find another 150k/year job with that since its so easy. I am very thankful for nursing. Prior to my first RN job I was making $8.80/hour as a firefighter/paramedic. When I went up to $26/hour + diffs my world changed.
  12. https://www.dailywire.com/news/famed-art-institute-of-chicago-fires-all-docents-primarily-white-women-critics-charge-racism More systemic racism against Caucasians. Art institute fires volunteers for being white. SMH
  13. Maybe they are more likely to be entitled and complain as evidenced throughout this thread... Other people might just take a tylenol and suck it up. Anyone thinking this is a physical job has never worked a real physical job. The vast majority of nurses are females as well who are more likely to be fat and out of shape. If you people don't like the job then quit. What do you want to do? Just sit there and stare at patients all day for $200k a year?
  14. My ER is still 5-1 just like pre Covid. 4 rooms and 1 hallway. 2 trauma nurses floating if they don’t have a trauma alert. We aren’t any busier than pre Covid 225 pt a day The pay and incentives have become amazing through. The nurses are making higher hourly than I am as an FNP($80/hr)
  15. Brisk walking? Oh no! The horror. Sliding a patient 15x in 12 hours? A little more than once an hour? Home life is different. I don’t see why you even bring it up. Like I said it’s the fat women in my department who complain about being sore. The fit people will pull 60-72 hour workweeks and not complain because it’s not a physically demanding job for someone who takes care of themselves. there are physically demanding jobs out there. Like the month I spent out west doing wildland firefighting 16 hour days digging trenches. Nursing is very light work physically
