I read it & got the right wing gist. That op-ED writer has a pattern, poor poor trump, everybody’s out to get him.

Whether you think he deserves it or not, it's been obvious that many will stop at nothing to try and get him.

Not sure about emt, but I did. Pretty predictable. Personally, I think it’s way premature to pontificate - we don’t even know what is in the warrant or what was seized. So … why hasn’t Trump made them public?

With pressure coming from both Trump allies and foes for the DOJ to release those things, not really any hurry for Trump to do so.

If he didn’t do so many things that invite investigation, maybe there wouldn’t be so many, well, investigations. What’s the term? Oh yeah, he needs to get got.

So … I believe that a copy of the warrant was given to Trump’s people. If it’s so egregious, why hasn’t he released it? Why hasn’t he released the inventory of what was seized?

What’s he hiding?

Indicating what is in the warrant would make him a "chump" like the poor, stupid public who  pay their taxes.  He wants us to believe that HE is in control of the situation.  The same can be said of why he hides is tax returns and he's never had to show them.  I await to see how he is going to be able to refuse to release the returns to the House.  And we  haven't  we found out why Deutsche Bank lent him money when he was tanked.. International implications?  We don't know.  Will Trump try to take this to SCOTUS?

It’s way too early in the legal process for the DOJ to release anything except to acknowkedge that a warrant was served and investigation is ongoing. They already made it pretty clear that Trump is being probed and we’ve known for a long time that the National Archives asked the DOJ to take a look.

While it’s not Trump’s job to make the DOJ’s. case for them, it is on him to make the case for his own allegations. Failing that, it’s all just bluster.

So … what’s he hiding?

How many lawsuits has the Trump campaign settled?

The Trump Campaign Has Quietly Settled Millions in Lawsuits. Before he took office, Donald Trump was involved in a truly astronomical number of lawsuits. A USA Today report published in 2016 found that there had been 3,500 legal actions filed by and against Trump and his hundreds of businesses in federal and state courts,...

How could this not be a clue to what kind of person, or even what kind of businessman, this person could be.  How could he possible possess the skills to be president.  He is good a dodging creditors, though.

Trump has broken multiple laws, essentially in plainsight, yet you think his legal troubles are because "many will stop at nothing to get him"? Why should we feel pity for someone who deserves to be held accountable for crimes and malfeasance?

I would counter that it seems obvious that some will ignore some pretty substantial evidence to excuse Trump's crimes and un-American intentions.

Here’s a good read on the search. Bear in mind the interviewee served in the trump administration as well as under obama.

“McCord told me that she doesn’t think “raid” is a fair description of what went down in Florida this week, and that—despite the very atypical nature of the person being investigated—this seems to be a pretty typical search-warrant execution, based on what we know so far.”

Now Trump is alleging that evidence was planted. Seems like there would be video of agents carrying stuff into the building. Once again, awaiting actual evidence.

How soon you forget that his opposing presidential candidate weaponized govt agencies to try and tank his campaign.

Then, Democrats used that false narrative to try undermine his presidency.

And, we all know the media was all to willing to participate in both.

I'd say he was the victim in all that.

And, btw, more Americans, still thought he was doing a better job than the stooge in office now.
