The misinformation put out by media and extremist websites on both sides as well as politicians and talking heads is far more widespread and concerning, imo.

imagine a 3rd party candidate can spend $100k and get elected.  Everyone know Hillary is a weak candidate like Biden.  Putin would have steamrolled her day 1.

Of course, you're blind to the misinformation Democrats, CNN, leftists websites, etc put out.

Even more so to the information they withhold or the stories they choose not to cover.

Willful ignorance.... check.

Quote

WASHINGTON (AP) — The Trump campaign’s interactions with Russian intelligence services during the 2016 presidential election posed a “grave” counterintelligence threat, a Senate panel concluded Tuesday as it detailed how associates of Donald Trump had regular contact with Russians and expected to benefit from the Kremlin’s help.

The nearly 1,000-page report, the fifth and final one from the Republican-led Senate intelligence committee on the Russia investigation, details how Russia launched an aggressive effort to interfere in the election on Trump’s behalf. It says the Trump campaign chairman had regular contact with a Russian intelligence officer and says other Trump associates were eager to exploit the Kremlin’s aid, particularly by maximizing the impact of the disclosure of Democratic emails hacked by Russian intelligence...

I think you're wrong, and that it is the other way around:

Trump got into office because so many people were skeptical of the way things were going, and they wanted to believe that Trump was different enough, and they hoped he was as good as his word.

Skepticism of the US Government is what drove people into clustering into conspiracy groups which took on Trump as their savior. Talk about people being led!!

I think that the moron to whom they gave him his first government job speaks for those who voted for him.  10 minutes of homework would steer anyone with working wheels to vote for the other guy.  Why didn't his followers appreciate how defective thus guy was?  That's because they actually BELIEVED what the carny man said:) That 's gullibility and the opposite if skepticism.

You thought that was a conspiracy theory? Oy gevalt. Ummm, no. It was an economic theory that considered the role of monopolies/lack of competition in market pricing.  You really didn’t understand that?

And not for nuthin’, but as a far right adherent, you’re talking about liberals being into conspiracy theories? That’s actually pretty funny in a weirdly ironic way.

It's been  looooong time since Latin II but gratis tibi for making me think about it again:)

Maybe 10th grade is the first year of high school? But that's not saying much for 9th grade English.

I thinkmany evangelicals & others who held their noses & voted for the former guy did so because they believed he could deliver on his promises. And while he failed on most, he did deliver a conservative scotus. His true weaknesses (moral, ethical, business acumen) didn’t matter.

Imagine that the qualities you listed above aren't important to certain people who proclaim their religious purity.  I can't.
