Something to understand what nurses think about re the Current News and their opinions!
What I want to know is why those Republicans are letting those Antifa people get away with the Insurrection and not having any hearings to find out which Democrats were giving them tours etc? The only way to find out is to have hearings, it's almost as if the republicans are in collusion with those Antifa peeps. I mean appropriating the Nazi and Confederate flags from those peace loving, police kissing Proud Boys and storming the WH and getting all the glory and the republicans are just letting them get away with it!

I had to read this a few times. Please tell me this is sarcasm. I really hope so because I'm over here screaming. ?

From the North Caroline State Board of Elections Registering as a College Student page.
I don't agree with the requirement that the student have not intent to return to their former home after graduation. However, I'm not sure if, or how, this would be enforced. As for identification requirements to register in the college location:
Of course, a source more current than 2016 might have had current information.
Having said this, I agree that establishing and documenting required residency to vote shouldn't be difficult.
ETA: I'm not sure what you mean by "portable," but if one is currently registered in a state, and attends school at another location in that state this should be an easy process. Relocating to another state for school might be slightly more of a process, but still shouldn't be insurmountable.
As for voting absentee, that shouldn't be a problem either. I'm not aware of the current requirements in other states, but in NC any voter can request an absentee ballot for any election, for any reason, or no reason at all.
Has anyone thought about the pandas that would eat the paper IDs because of the bamboo ??
I think a tattooed bar code on the chest would be best or a vaccine with an implant? And definitely no pizzas or Jewish lasers to mess or burn the IDs should be allowed!
And only rent arenas that are available for at least a few months before prom for the counting!
Get TSA involved so no liquids can be brought into the booths and boxes for shoes as well ??.
And keep Hilary away because she might spill the children's blood! You know she's a nasty woman????!

What the h**l are you trying to say?
Just now, Tweety said:I don't get it either.
Why should certain people get away with the idiocy? I'm a raging fool and I want my day to fake news and speak nonsense and enjoy my children's blood prepared by the lizards from the pizza shop.
If they think that they are the only ones who can spout nonsense, well, I think I can give them a run for their money!
No Insurrection hearing because Democrats want to live in the past, all four months ago of the past!

OK.
The bottom line is that deeply conservative states have a long history of employing all manner of tactics to limit access to voting. The effort persists even though the specific tools or tricks might vary or evolve over time.
What do I mean by portable? I mean that if I am a registered voter in the USA I should be able to cast my vote from anywhere. No government regulation should make it harder for an American to vote simply because they are traveling.

As I've never addressed you in this manner. I'm somewhat confused as to why this was directed to me. And this isn't the first time you've done so.
I don't think I've acted the raging fool. I know I've nort advanced any crazy conspiracy theories ot raged about fake news. And while I haven't outright condemned him like many here have, I don't think I'm a Trumpster.
So again, why did you feel the need to address me in this manner?

That's exactly how I feel about republicans when I hear that there was no insurrection, no voter suppression, no revisions of history, I was just waving to the crowd Hawley, let's support the *** grabber, rapist, lying, thieving, whoring, orange criminal etc etc!
Do you see how Liberals feel about the massive hypocrisy and lies that come from republicans? What's going on in Texas, N Carolina, Florida etc? Gerrymandering, voter suppression laws, the racism and misogyny? Anti Jewish, Black, Asians, Women, Hispanics, you name it, republicans will find a way to suppress the votes. Always illegally and imorally!
Exactly, as how my nonsensical, gibberish sarcastic statements is being received, is exactly what we feel, when we have to listen to their's!
They just think that they can rewrite the recent past and gaslight their behaviors and somehow we will lose our memories!

Voting in each state is different. Non-resident students have to request absentee ballots from their home states and if they're in a GOP state, they may not receive them in time to be counted, many times on purpose. Also, as in the case of AL recently, college students may be wrongfully purged from voter rolls to intentionally keep them from being able to vote, many Black, Hispanic, and Native. That's no coincidence. Also, voting polls have been systematically shut down in areas of color to force long voting lines, limited hours, and they try to prevent people from voting. If you're in line before the poll closes they have to let you vote by law. However, that has not been followed in many places, mainly GOP states or counties. And all of that on top of gerrymandering. Voter ID is just but one excuse to keep people from voting. That's why I tell people, at a minimum, have ID.
