The incidence of drug addiction and alcoholism among his siblings is a signal that something is terrible wrong in their genes.  Even RFK, Jr. admits to that.  And we are all aware of early dementia from secondary to addictions.  So yes, he had a lot of strikes against him.  But what's even more sad to me is that he can get naive people to follow him.

There's an unlikely crowd of angry and gullible people who are eager to assimilate his nonsense, his status as a Kennedy makes them feel like they are open minded and inclusive.

I didn't think that comment about Doocy was an example of Biden's ire getting the best of him. Did you think that was ire?  And did it seem to get the best of him?

Maybe we are functioning from a different definition of the word "ire". In my view, ire describes a more heightened or emotional or intense reaction that we saw from Biden in response to Doocy's intentionally provocative style.

Monoclonal antibody treatment: Florida shuts down all sites after FDA decision to limit use of certain treatments not proven effective against Omicron - CNN

Uh-oh.  Hope the taxpayers of Florida didn't get bitten in the tuchus now that they have to hold any stocks they didn't use.  Gee, it would have been so much cheaper just to aggressively promote the vaccine.

Why would Florida Republican leadership want to forward a fiscally conservative approach to pandemic mitigation when they could instead throw money at the idea of individual freedom to ignore public health guidance during the pandemic? Everyone knows that it's cheaper to vaccinate and prevent serious illness than it is to refuse vaccination and treat illness.  These choices are simply more evidence that the notion that the GOP is a party concerned with fiscal conservatism is a lie and con.

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. apologized Tuesday for invoking Anne Frank to imply Jews had more freedoms during the Holocaust than unvaccinated Americans do today — remarks that drew a public backlash and criticism from Kennedy’s wife.

Kennedy had referenced Frank, a child who died in a Nazi concentration camp, while speaking in front of the Lincoln Memorial on Sunday at an anti-vaccine rally. “Even in Hitler’s Germany, you could cross the Alps to Switzerland. You could hide in an attic like Anne Frank did,” said Kennedy, a longtime opponent of vaccines who has spread unsupported claims about shots shown to protect against covid-19.

He then goes on to say:

“I referred to Anne Frank’s terrible two year ordeal only by way of showing that modern surveillance capacity would make her courageous feat virtually impossible today,” Kennedy said.

Which sounds like "I apologize, but I still meant it.....".  But also what is the point?  The point and how this connects to vaccines is a bit off.  It's a very odd connection between vaccines mandates violating freedom and "modern surveillance capacity....".  I don't get it.

And the article says:   It was not the first time Kennedy has invoked the Holocaust in reference to vaccines. In 2015, he said of vaccinations: “They get the shot, that night they have a fever of a hundred and three, they go to sleep, and three months later their brain is gone. This is a holocaust, what this is doing to our country.”

Which is also a stupid statement because in 2015 untold millions of illnesses were prevented by vaccines.

Still, he apologized and there is that.

The fellow has long been a fool where vaccines are concerned...just saying.

This is gold.  The humour will be lost on most here.
