You're saying Bill Maher, a NYT reporter, and other liberal types don't check their facts?

You may have a point.

I don't recall mentioning any of those people or entities.  I did question the honesty and trustworthiness of Ron DeSantis when it comes to Covid.  I do wonder if you think it's unusual for Bill Maher to be critical of the "political left"? No matter.  It's clear that Shapiro's social media team correctly identified that such content would titillate their targeted audience.

Right.  So you don't think Maher and others aren't smart enough to consider the same about DeSantis?

It's amusing to hear from someone who went all in on collusion, quid pro quo, etc. comment on what others are titilated by.

Again, that's not what I said.

Your comment makes it sound like you didn't find the evidence of Trump's corruption and quid pro quo very convincing.  Maybe you don't remember that during that impeachment trial the republicans conceded that the quid pro quo had been proven and no additional testimony was necessary. Lamar Alexander and others said so right out loud.  Do you remember when the rhetoric of defense experienced that subtle change from "no quid pro quo" to "so what, quid pro quo isn't an impeachable offense"? I do.  I would bet that you could Google it.

President Joe Biden called Fox News White House Correspondent Peter Doocy a “stupid son of a *****.”

Wrapping up a photo op in front of the media on Monday, several reporters shouted questions at Biden, including Doocy.

“Do you think inflation is a political liability in the midterms?” he asked.

“It’s a great asset,” Biden sarcastically said, apparently unaware the microphone was still on. “More inflation. What a stupid son of a *****.”

Well, it really was a stupid question:)  Biden just said what millions are thinking .  Many other international power brokers have made the same mic error.  Always better to just bite the tongue..

Biden's not wrong.  It doesn't require that you spend much time listening to Peter Doocy formulate and ask questions of the president and staff to come to the conclusion that he's not very smart and is simply looking to further right wing rhetoric and narratives.  I frequently wonder if Doocy has any appreciation for how tone of voice communicates quite a bit about the speaker. I don't think he does.

Do you think that Peter Doocy would have the position he has if his dad wasn't who he is?

I'm not going to speculate on Mr. Doocy's intelligence or how he might have gotten his position.  And, I will grant that he frequently goes out if his way to to antagonize Mr. Biden.

However, as POTUS, Mr. Biden can not let his ire get the best of him.

It's a very small sin in the grand scheme of things.  I'm not sure it rises to more than anything but an oops.  It's wasn't t self-enriching.  He  didn't deliberately attempt to decimate anyone, he didn't lie or steal.  And it really was a stupid question:)  Has inflation ever been a political asset?

I didn't think that comment about Doocy was an example of Biden's ire getting the best of him. Did you think that was ire?  And did it seem to get the best of him?

Maybe we are functioning from a different definition of the word "ire". In my view, ire describes a more heightened or emotional or intense reaction that we saw from Biden in response to Doocy's intentionally provocative style.

"Even in Hitler Germany (sic), you could, you could cross the Alps into Switzerland. You could hide in an attic, like Anne Frank did," said Kennedy, a prominent anti-vaccine advocate, in a speech at the Lincoln Memorial. "I visited, in 1962, East Germany with my father and met people who had climbed the wall and escaped, so it was possible. Many died, true, but it was possible."  Robert F. Kennedy, Jr.

This statement was made at the anti-vaccine rally.  I'm just going to leave it here because this man clearly is in the throes of dementia and insanity and should be pitied.

The incidence of drug addiction and alcoholism among his siblings is a signal that something is terrible wrong in their genes.  Even RFK, Jr. admits to that.  And we are all aware of early dementia from secondary to addictions.  So yes, he had a lot of strikes against him.  But what's even more sad to me is that he can get naive people to follow him.
