Something to understand what nurses think about re the Current News and their opinions!

He said that and what has come of it? Nothing. What has he done? Nothing.
He says all types of things but does absolutely nothing. So flogging himself and an entire country is only virtue signaling .
He would say anything to appease those he thinks matter or the trendy narrative of the day.
He's budgeted $2 billion to implement initiatives to address the problem: https://www.rcaanc-cirnac.gc.ca/eng/1622667811346/1622667843729

Besides, if they are so obviously stupid, why would the PM care if they are there? Because they ask questions he doesn't like and other news media will not.
The court didn't determine "they were legitimate", the court ruled that the debate commission had failed to specify that to participate, media outlets had to abide by journalistic standards.
In this case it was that Rebel News had failed to declare a number of conflicts of interest.
And I had got the impression that the issue was simply that Rebel News was political commentary rather than news, which at least in the US means you don't get a seat in the briefing room, but it turns out they are far worse than simply not technically being a news outlet.
Speaking of Gavin McInnes, he apparently worked for them (and now works for them again) in 2017 and took a Rebel News sponsored trip to Israel, and Rebel published him making various comments that are hard to summarize

QuoteEvery month or so, while conversing with sources at Fox News, I express surprise that Jonah Goldberg and Stephen Hayes are still employed by the network. After all, the two men are reality-based conservative thinkers who refuse to capitulate to Donald Trump. Unfortunately, Fox viewers rarely get to hear from them. They are booked by the network's producers so rarely that their contracts could be likened to golden handcuffs.
Now they are ditching the cuffs.
Hayes and Goldberg announced Sunday night that they have resigned from Fox. The pair wrote in a blog post for The Dispatch, their online home, that Tucker Carlson's "Patriot Purge" propaganda film was the last straw.

Well, that's interesting. Here's another bit of reporting from NPR.
Quote
"It's basically saying that the Biden regime is coming after half the country and this is the War on Terror 2.0," Goldberg tells NPR. "It traffics in all manner of innuendo and conspiracy theories that I think legitimately could lead to violence. That for me, and for Steve, was the last straw."

What is the answer to the question? Politics? Ignorance? Indoctrination? Independence? Autonomy?
Unless I'm mistaken the military has had vaccine mandates for a while. As an Army brat I was even mandated certain vaccines based on where my father was stationed. When we went to live in Thailand for example. I'm surprised at the resistance. But then again I shouldn't be surprised.
Meanwhile Europe is feeling what we here in Florida did this past Summer, a surge amongst the unvaccinated. And in poorly vaccinated Romania they are hard hit. Guess they decided to take their chances after seeing what the US went through.

U.S. listed as a ‘backsliding’ democracy for first time in report by European think tank
Quote“The United States, the bastion of global democracy, fell victim to authoritarian tendencies itself, and was knocked down a significant number of steps on the democratic scale,” the International IDEA’s Global State of Democracy 2021 report said.
The study, which analyzed trends from 2020 to 2021, found that more than a quarter of the world’s population now lives in democratically backsliding countries, which International IDEA defines as nations seeing a gradual decline in the quality of their democracy.
QuoteThe report’s U.S. assessment centered on developments during President Donald Trump’s administration. It called Trump’s factually baseless questioning of the legitimacy of the 2020 election results a “historic turning point” that “undermined fundamental trust in the electoral process” and culminated in the Jan. 6 insurrection at the U.S. Capitol. Trump’s tactics had “spillover effects, including in Brazil, Mexico, Myanmar and Peru, among others,” the report concluded.
It's interesting that so many conservative Americans are in denial about what Trump represents. Or are they indoctrinated? How should we describe what's going on?

I wish my dad was alive, I'd ask him about this.... And so many other things. Love your parents people, you will miss them when they are gone.

The exact same thing can be said about the democrats. So perhaps we should make our own decisions and stand for what we believe in?
