Something to understand what nurses think about re the Current News and their opinions!

Are you unaware of the scrutiny that is targeting the Cuomo response? Shouldn't that scrutiny be shared by the governors of other states who failed the pandemic test...like the Dakotas or Florida or Alaska?
Yeah, you should probably do some more research...preferably in some sources more credible than The Blaze. But again...why didn't Trump get to the bottom of that and implement some accountability for what you believe (and Trump suggests) happened? Better yet, what is your country of residence recommending relative to punishing China for the pandemic?
My country is useless. That is Canada. However I lived and am a citizen of both.
Nah. Our "Priminister is a *** completely unless so nothing for China

In other words, you are only interested in what you believe Biden should do although you can't be specific about the evidence of malfeasance or the nature of the accountability. Just that Biden must be screwing that China accountability up in some way...?

Delaware County Pa. voting official sues Trump, Giuliani, others over 2020 allegations
SLANDER SUIT: A voting machine warehouse supervisor from Delaware County is suing former President Donald Trump, his attorney Rudy Giuliani, and other Big Lie purveyors, saying their allegations of a stolen election in Pennsylvania has defamed his character, per Politico report.
QuoteIn a 60-page lawsuit, James Savage, the voting machine warehouse custodian in Delaware County, says that in the aftermath of Trump’s effort, he suffered two heart attacks and has regularly received threats.

Delco election official sues former president Donald Trump, supporters for defamation
QuotePHILADELPHIA – The supervisor and chief custodian of the Delaware County Voting Machine Warehouse is suing former President Donald Trump, two local GOP poll watchers and others for allegedly making “deliberate, malicious, and defamatory statements and insinuations” about him in the wake of the contentious 2020 Presidential Election.
James Savage, of Chester, says his character has been “assassinated at a national level,” that he has suffered health issues and that he has been subjected to threats of physical violence after Trump and his supporters repeatedly made false statements that painted him as a criminal who fraudulently uploaded 50,000 votes for Democratic President Joe Biden during vote tabulations last fall.
I live not far from the voting machine warehouse, not on a main road, older nondescript building. With the crazy PA publicity and intense Republican pressure, thought something could happen to those working there. Ironic as Delaware County did have ONE fraudulent voting scandal --- in my town: man voted TRUMP + republican candidates using dead mothers and mother in laws identity!!
At least it's all not gloom and doom.
QuoteIn a state where Gov. Ron DeSantis may be the Republican presidential nominee in 2024, that didn’t translate into victory for St. Petersburg Republicans. In fact, they lost ground.
We even voted in a...gasp...Democrat Socialist.....
QuoteA real estate agent from suburban Dallas who flaunted her participation in the Jan. 6 riot at the U.S. Capitol on social media and later bragged she wasn’t going to jail because she is white, has blond hair and a good job was sentenced on Thursday to two months behind bars.

St. Petersburg is one of the least soulless cities in Fla. A little funky and a little slower. I was there for a wedding a few years back and stayed in an older hotel downtown that was old Florida. Hard to find places like that anymore. Glad you weren't steamroller by cracker Republicans.

But since I'm too impatient for that to happen, here it is: NYC and Newark airports had flights coming in from Wuhan. It's always scary what people might accidently bring in. Secondly, they were hit first. We had no experience taking care of these patients. It took a few weeks to figure out therapeutics like proning. They didn't have adequate PPE. People live in crowded living conditions sharing elevators and common spaces in apartment buildings. It was Winter. There is NO comparison between conditions in NYC and Florida. You can't make a pissing contest out of it.
You forgot one big reason, but I won't go there again.
Anyway, remember earlier when I said it's hard to compare states due to so many variables? You just proved my point. For example, doesn't Florida have the highest number of senior citizens? You think that might be a factor too?

That was a factor in the first wave, but the latest more harmful wave was the unvaccinated. It's moved on but the unvaccinated in Colorado and Wyoming are now causing problems and overfilling hospitals.
But Florida does lead the nation in nursing home deaths and DeSantis didn't send covid patients to Nursing Homes to their death which many people think was a factor in New Yorks high death rate. But when you look at over all deaths and nursing home deaths as a percentage of that, many states are higher than New York. Thankfully DeSantis and other governors prioritized NH residents and death rates dropped with the vaccine. Also as I've mentioned over 65 are vaccinated at nearly 90%. My age bracket as well is about 85ish. It's the younger unvaccinated patients clogging up hospitals this wave.
It's a medical issue and not a political one which the older people seem to understand.

It was a pleasant surprise that such a high percentage of the senior population of Florida accepted the vaccine. They decided that they could be conservative and still protect their communities from the disease.

Sure. No, I don't find that interesting at all. Do you wonder why there's not similar questions being asked of other governors who failed to control the spread of the pandemic? Some people praise Trump as a hero and great leader too...oh well.
