Something to understand what nurses think about re the Current News and their opinions!

The nonsense scapegoating of Dr Fauci (not Fauchy) is noted. You do understand that Fauci isn't a bad guy in any of this pandemic politicization of covid or mitigation, right? Are you aware that it is propaganda that accuses Fauci of nefarious professional activity related to covid? Do you recognize that most of the criticism repeated in conservative media is simply a smear campaign?

Not a bad guy but a babbling idiot that can't decide if mask work, don't work, need none, need 2 but 3 is probably better and vaccines work but still wear a mask or 3 babbling reject.

Why do you think that we would care about the far right, not very credible opinion from The Blaze about "liberal hypocrisy "? Or is that video about CRT? Can't you find a more credible source for your CRT concerns? I suspect not since that general sense of concern is really not an issue outside of the echo chamber of conservative media.
I knew you would say something like this. Now try really hard to pay attention to how the democrats contradict themselves repetitively.
Just focus on them and what they say. I know it's hard because it's the Blaze, I added that disclaimer with my original comment. Close your eyes if you have to and listen to the hypocrisy. I mean it's coming out of their own faces on their own biased media.
Echo chamber? Well we agree on that one. The videos in this video by the Blaze demonstrates a echo chamber in its purest format. Democrats bs everyone and contradicting themselves.
How do you say...."it's not my fault you...."?
Well it's not my fault that left media won't cover anything that's not in line with their narrative or denial of the day.
Perhaps people wouldn't listen to Fox and the like if there was at least one mostly credible left media outlet.

Nonsense.
But lucky for you you don't live in this country so you don't have to worry about the information that he provided to Americans. How did you feel about Trump saying that masks were a matter of personal choice early in 2020?

I thought it was fine as it is now. Pretty sure he would have changed his opinion as did Fauchy several times as the "evidence " came through...Things changed.
Unlucky for the rest of the world because what happenes in the US has direct impact in other countries. Especially Canada. Cuz we are kinda right there.... Up. Or down to the side in your case.ibrefusevto believe you ate THAT ignorant.

Blah blah blah in avoidance of discussing the CRT that you are concerned about. Seriously...what "CRT ideas" do you believe are being taught in public schools and in what grades? Explain what troubles you and why please.
By the "left media" what specifically are you referencing?
Why do you think there isn't a mostly credible left media source? Do you think there are mostly credible right media sources? What are you using to measure and compare the media or is this just your feelings? I can offer you a link to a resource which measures accuracy and bias of media.
Are you interested in discussion about these ideas you throw about or are you just agitating and provoking?

Oh, I see...Trump can completely undermine the public health recommendation that his Director of the CDC had made only moments before in the very same pandemic press briefing in early 2020, but Fauci is the idiot, in your view. And Trump would be allowed to change his mind based upon new evidence but you are still actively imagining incompetence because of changing mask guidance. That's rabbit hole level propaganda right there. Connect the dots...Trump was the reason that the USA directly and negatively impacted other countries. I previously shared an an opinion from NEJM editorial board which nicely outlined the incompetence which marked the Trump pandemic response. I bet you didn't read that.
Let me try again.

Okay fair enough. There are some good points. However Trump wasn't the only one saying that. Everyone didn't know much about it until we learned more. Not to mention he got called a racist for closing the borders.
I will admit he could have handled it much better than he did. I believe it was because of covid and how the changes in voting cost him the 2nd term. Mostly with covid. Not stolen and not fraud. People take things out of context. You know how when a sports teams says, the game was stolen from us"? They are referencing the loss, not saying the game was actually stolen. But Trump being Trump doubled down on it I recall telling him to shut up in my head. A few times and still.do occasionally.
I don't have a issue with calling Trump out. Of course I don't like to but I will and have. I do not think Fauchy has the critical objective ability. He seems very swayed by political pressures. This is my opinion I do not have any sources for you.
Another question then. Why haven't we held China accountable for their part in this? If we want to throw stones, why not throw them at them at the mountain? China?
Now I need to do more research but, perhaps you can help me. What is the issue with the gain of function controversy and do you think China needs to be held accountable? (I already know what you think about Trump) but what do ypu personally think about China?
I am making an effort to listen to someone I usually disagree with. I think that one if the best ways to come to a conclusion is to listen to someone you never agree with.
I am 100% genuine I'm really trying to see things differently.

I am interested. Perhaps I am misinformed. I'm open to that possibility. I get side tracked with the propaganda conservative this Trump that comments.
With the victory in Virgina and the wake up call in New Jersey and Fox New's non-stop coverage of this, I think the Republicans have done a good job in the post Trump defeat. I think they are moving beyond the fact that some in their party think the election was stolen. They just simply are reminding them who they are and that the Republican agenda is still alive and well.
Focusing on the Biden failures, the fear of "socialism" and things like vaccine mandates and critical race theory is a winning combination.
I just hope by 2024 they've completely erased Trump and pick someone else. They could sail back to the White House without him if they can keep his base happy without him. That's their challenge. Trump is still powerful, but I do see them taking baby steps away.

Sure. First, has anyone determined exactly what happened? I know that you are implying that this novel pandemic started in a Chinese lab and the should be consequences for that if true. Shouldn't there be proof before there are consequences?
Also, if this was a lab leak...why were so many conservatives unwilling to follow basic mitigation to protect the economy and fellow countrymen from the Chinese threat? Why did so many conservatives basically throw themselves in front of that Chinese pandemic train and refuse to mask, distance or vaccination against the disease? Was it because Trump told them that it wasn't a big deal and mitigation was optional? Why didn't Trump follow up on his publicly expressed concerns about the origins of the virus? Didn't his intelligence community contradict his claims about the origins?
Senator Paul has not provided you or anyone else proof of his gain of function suspicion. In spite of his loud claims he has provided no proof. Should we take action based in his suspicion?
Now let's talk about accountability. What should that look like...should it be strictly economic? Should the world impose the same accountability that we suffered when a pandemic spread from our shores?

Trump was the president...the most powerful individual on this continent and he said it repeatedly in direct contradiction to the public health experts that he used in his covid briefings. Because people didn't know much about the novel virus, Trump's intentional lies and misinformation (from a powerful political figure) confused people down a path that resulted in widespread disease and death with the subsequent economic upheaval that we are trying to recover from now. Trump's words were and are consequential as a political leader. Shouldn't there be consequences for Trump's verbal malfeasance that resulted in widespread death and economic destruction?
If there's a deadly respiratory contagion spreading across the globe will it work to close your borders to SOME travelers from SOME regions and countries? That's what Trump tried, he tried to close our borders to travelers from China...unless they were citizens returning home or some business. He closed travel from some European countries for some people. It failed spectacularly. It's important that at the same time some people were restricted from traveling from China or 26 European countries, Trump was downplaying the virus, calling it a flu and telling the public that it was going to go away...so his followers didn't believe it was dangerous enough to mitigate personally but dangerous enough to restrict travel for other people.

I don't know what you are trying to say with those words unless you are admitting that you are occasionally sidetracked by propaganda.

Hope. I like hope.
Baby steps. Have baby steps generally worked when countries have grappled with conservative authoritarians?
