What happens when the other side is in control?  They'll shape the court to their preference.  Add justices, subtract justices...the game will continue,  and chaos will ensue.

Not that I'm going to brag about many Republicans,  but I'd still disagree that most Democrats are "pretty good people".

So, that being said, wouldn't term limits for congress make more sense?

The other side cheats. The other side lies with impunity.  The other side is currently engaged in lying to the American people at the request of a crazy person. Term limits are necessary to prevent another McConnell from developing in the Senate.

We know that you believe and support a well known liar and cheat who incited a violent attack on the capital in order to maintain power after losing the election.  We know that you won't even speak out about that lie about "election integrity". We know that you won't speak out against new laws that were offered because the "election integrity" lie gives them that inspiration.  We know that you were unable to discern the vast majority of Trump's lies when he was lying to us daily.

Are you a racist?  You certainly have no problem publicly supporting racists or racist's policies.  Didn't your grandma ever tell you that if you lie with dogs you will get fleas? That's what that old saying means...if you promote the lying racists people will begin to think you excuse lying and racism

LOL....I guess I'm missing where you are speaking out against Biden lying about GA and it's new "Jim Crow" laws.

Or about how Maxine Waters is  trying to, and with a quick verdict on the way, will likely be inciting violence.

Instead, you prove my point like the other poster.  Much easier to simply stick to the Democrat game plan.... Discredit and disparage the other side.

Talk about your cultists.  LOL.

This entire post is nonsense from someone who still supports Trump and refuses to acknowledge his lies and inciting rhetoric.  Your continued attempt to project while pointing fingers is well established and expected at this point.

Waters is the perfect target for the GOP's outrage, a fed up black woman who was reckless with her words in a emotionally charged situation. Again, the concerned conservatives are the same people cashing in on Trump's insurrection inspiring lie.  It is cute that you think that it would be Maxine Waters' fault if there's violence following an acquittal of Chauvin.

Kinda proved my point, didn't ya?  Cant make a argument on the issue. You have to resort to a personal attack on someone you know next to nothing about, because you've been convinced folks like myself are racists.

And, that's how the Democrats operate.

Beerman, I'm a psych nurse and I'm very familiar with delusional thinking. I don't argue with you anymore because I have come to realize that many republicans are actually delusional. You exhibit all of the signs.

A false belief!

I would bet that you listen to a specific radio station or jocks and watch specific programmes with specific people telling you what you want to hear. You also only read specific publications, always to reinforce your narrative.

It's sort of the glass half full kind of thing. The unfortunate part of that sort of thinking, is that it bleeds into all areas of your life. You can't take apples out of an empty barrel. You only get out what you put in.

You have to ask yourself why is it that you only have a certain type of friend or visit only certain places or are always judging the 'other' people? Why are you so insecure that you feel the need to always feel that you are better than the 'others'? As if they are not like you. They don't have lives or families or essentially doing almost exactly the same things you do?

Why do you get angry so quickly at so many things?

Give me a break with the Democrats and Biden being good, decent, honest people.

Democrats cant win and stay in power on the issues.  So they"ve divided us, based on the lie that half of the citizenry is racist.

Most recent, obvious proof of that is our new president each day spouting off the lie that Georgia's voting laws harken back to the days of Jim Crow.

It doesnt get much more evil then that.

Really, you think the Biden rhetoric is "evil"?     Interesting.

Granted, it's a bit over the top, but I would hardly call it evil, but not any more over the top than the claim by the Georgia Republicans was that their motivation was to make the voting process "more fair".

And you stick to the Republican game plan by discrediting and disparage the other side by bringing up something we're not talking about like Maxine Waters.

But sadly this is the norm for both sides.  Not to find any common ground, not to compromise, but constantly bicker and spin about the other side.  It's probably always been this way.

While I don't agree that she was inciting violence, I can certainly understand why Republicans would jump on this, especially when Democrats accused Trump of doing so.

This is indeed the most topical news of the day, and good news at that.

Not his one line on this.  I said that was one example.  Let me clarify.  Democrats use identity politics.  To stay in power, they have to make half of us racists, and the other half either victims or sympathizers of the victims.

That, is evil.

Give me a break.  Since I made the post you quoted and replied to, literally paragraphs have been written attacking me and my support of Trump.  You're the first one to actually respond to the point I was making.   This discussion certainly shoudnt be about me.  My mention of Waters was in response to one post claiming Trump incited a insurrection.  And, anyway,  me mentioning Waters isn't disbarraging or discrediting anyone, is it?

Democrats got in power because of Trump.  Really Biden just had to sit back and let Trump do his thing.

But I get it, because Trump has said and done some racist and sexist things, people brand those that support him racist and sexist and that can't feel good especially when it was effective.

But really when you say "I'd still disagree that most Democrats are "pretty good people" and that their ideas are evil, you are engaging in disparaging and discrediting 50% of the population don't you think?

But it really doesn't bother me.  I've been called a socialist, communist, part of "cancel culture", and that I hate America.  I understand it's politics as usual and try not to take it personally but I will snap back.

Republicans make up words and place them on Democrats all the time.  For example, "politically correct" was not a word before Republicans made it up to shame people for speaking up when a racist or misogynist  acts out against someone in public or is acting foolish at the expense of other human beings.

Identity politics?  Seriously?  Republicans are all about identifying with some hateful group such as Q-Anon, White Nationalist, and lets not forget the racist Tea-Party or MAGA.

No one has to make anything up about Trump supporters being racist... They are very open about being racist.  You are just mad because Republican racist are being called out for what they are and are no longer getting away gas-lighting or deflection by playing the victim.

Democrats don't make conservatives racists or victims.  Racists self identify by their actions, rhetoric or sympathies.  Republicans under Trump's "leadership" have embraced the role of victim.  Trump is the biggest victim of the liberals...just ask him.

Trump: We're All Victims

I'm sort of embarrassed for the people who believe Trump's crap.

I was speaking of the Democrats in Washington as that was my response in the context of the post I was replying to.  I wasnt speaking of the general public.
