I've been fighting an URI all week, so I am thankful that:

1. I have the day off today so I can get some rest and recover

2. My mom was kind enough to take care of my dtr for the day so I could get the must needed rest (she is 11 months old, so there's no resting while she's awake!)

I am thankful for the 8 week old, 2 lb. baby kitty in my lap that we just adopted over the weekend. She and her sister were dumped off at the local Petsmart in September, and a local rescue group took them in, bottle fed and loved them, then put them up for adoption. I get to be her mama! She is all sweetness and light and life. Her name is Coraline. :)
