Published

Me first:)

1. I can't believe it- I'm a Registered Nurse( yeah yeah, the excitement is still there).:D

2. I'm thankful for life and the gifts that comes with it.

3. I am thankful for family, friends and my colleagues...

4. I'm thankful for my job..

Everyday may not be good but there is something good in everyday.

Good thread idea!

Today, I am thankful for a sloooow clinic day. I might have just given myself the kiss of death, though, because I still have 1.25 hours left, LOL!

I am also thankful that in the past week I have had the chance to catch up with two great friends, one whom I have not seen almost since nursing school and one whom I have not seen in 10 years! Made me remember how important it is to surround yourself with the people who support you and love you! I will not be letting so much time pass between visits anymore.

1. I woke up. :D

2. I could walk to the kitchen without help and free from pain (nothing new for me, but not to be taken for granted)

3. My W onderful, I ntelligent, F emale, E ngel (so I had to borrow a word from another language) made coffee like only she can. This is enough to give thanks for the rest of the day.

4. I safely made it to work. I have a job.

5. the internet:D

1. I am thankful of God being in my life.

2. I am thankful that I passed the NCLEX last week!!!

3. I am thankful that my husband still has a job in this economy.

4. I am thankful of the job I will have in the future.

5. I am thankful that my transplanted kidney has not completely failed just yet.

Wow, you sound like a walking miracle:yeah:

1. The health and happiness of myself and my family.

2. The freedom that we have in the USA.

3. The fact that my husband and I still have jobs that are pretty secure at this time.

4. The way my life has turned out today by both the choices I have made and the opportunities given to me.

Wow, great question! I'm thankful for my wonderful, strong willed little girl who chases the dog around with a stethoscope telling me, "Mommie, I'm doing my clinicals!"

I'm thankful for a loving, supportive partner who cheers me up and believes in me when I'm down.

I'm thankful for my part-time job that (almost) pays the bills, and the financial aid.

I'm thankful to live in a free country, I been places where the people cannot make many of their own decisions.

I'm thankful that I'm almost done with semester 2 out of 4 of my RN program!

It hasn't been an easy life, but I'm grateful for it, and my loved ones and friends.:loveya:

Today I am thankful for a much needed beautiful day off!

And I am thankful for my sweet dog. Today I took him for a ride in the car and bought him a plain hamburger. Just cause I love him. (and yes I know this is bad for him but everyone deserves a treat once in a while)

I am thankful for.... LIFE!

The thing that God gave to all of us; believers or not. As nurses this is the thing we do our best to preserve. Yes, we hope to hold pain, infection, emotional issues at bay, but the one thing we are at our job for is LIFE.

I can't accept the "let um go" attitude. My life, your life, and their life is worth every effort that can be gathered from within. Somebody loves each and everyone of us. LIFE is hard and it hurts. But, isn't it worth it?!!

You have changed a life today with your smile. Don't stop!! Be proud and thankful that as a nurse you have this beautiful opportunity. :heartbeat
