What are you thankful for today?

Me first:)

1. I can't believe it- I'm a Registered Nurse( yeah yeah, the excitement is still there).

2. I'm thankful for life and the gifts that comes with it.

3. I am thankful for family, friends and my colleagues...

4. I'm thankful for my job..

Everyday may not be good but there is something good in everyday.

My wonderful DH whom I just celebrated 20 years of marriage with

My two sons (even when they are driving me crazy, I am thankful to have them to drive me crazy, lol)

My job

Not having to be at my job tonight

The two most loving, caring, giving parents god ever saw fit to create

My new guitar purse (it rocks!)

Ben & Jerry's pumpkin cheesecake ice cream

The opportunity to be able to just sit and type these things on allnurses....even though I don't post a lot, I have been a member for years and love this board!

Cheers, everyone...I always try to remember, someone somewhere is worse off than I am. It is nice to remember the blessings we do have

I am thankful I am not as sick as I was yesterday!

I am thankful for my daughter who will be turning nine soon, my two kitties coco and zoe, my parents who support me through everything, my heart which is working better now thanks to the surgery I had to fix it, my health returning to normal (had a rough 2009 w/ sickness and surgery) faith to believe I will find a job again, (been out of work f/ 8 months). :)

-My friends and family

-The outdoors

-My home

-My 2 jobs and the opportunity to work in a profession that I love

-My airway

-My breathing

Today I am thankful for the men and women in our military who sacrifice so much for our country. Happy Veteran's Day and THANK YOU!

I am also thankful that the weird mole on my back that seemed to meet the ABC criteria for skin cancer was benign! Woohoo!
