  1. I am so happy for you, you are finally doing what you enjoy. I am also a new graduate,40 years old and working as apsych nurse. At this stage being happy at the job is uppermost. Med-surge is not for everyone, nursing is so diverse that everyone will find their niche.Good luck
  2. I am thankful for good health and being able to enjoy a new day For my husband for being patient with me and wanting to know how my day was For my 3 children, who bring so much joy to my life For my family and friends for putting up with me For my job and in a specialty which i enjoy And most especially to God who made all this possible and is always present in my life
  3. I know how u feel, i am in the same boat. not even one interview and i have applied to a zillion places. I am looking into nursing homes now. The only way to get a foot in is to know someone.
  4. i have an interview with them on monday in the manhattan office. i just hope they get me something.
  5. Hi, I passed mine on 7/17 for the first time with 75 questions. What i basically read was the Saunders and i put in extra focus on topics i was not taught in school. I tried to do at least 100 questions each day and i suplemented it with NCSBN learningtext for $49. Also if u search i think someone posted a website with the diseases and infection control, this helped me.
  6. I did not think the nclex was that bad. I used Saunders and the ncsbn learningtext. I passed with 75 questions. To tell the truth Nclex is nothing like Kaplan and all the books out there The learniing text was closer to it.
  7. You will be fine try and relax and wait for 48hours to be up. Since u tried the pearson vue trick and got a pop up, u should be ok. I am also waiting for my result but i am not losing any sleep over it. go to dinner, drink some wine and most of all be positive:nuke:
  8. I just did mine today. They give you the the name of the meds but not the classification. To tell u the truth nothing really prepares u for the meds as everything look alike.
  9. I had the same problem and it took them about 3hrs before i got something from them to reset my password
  10. I am praying it works. I got the same pop up and it would not let me register after taking the test this morning. My questions stopped at 75 with a lot of SATA, infection control and priority. I kinnda feel a little better, till my 48hrs are up:bow:
  11. I know how u feel. Just finished mine and it stopped at 75 with 10 SATA, lots of teaching, priority and meds. Now the waiting
  12. congratulations, i am taking mine on 7/16 and i am also using the learning extension and saunders
