Hi so I applied for the Post Masters certificate FNP program at GSU because online it said the deadline was 8/1/26 (or possibly 8/15/26). I haven't heard back anything from anyone nor have I seen any online post of other students who are accepted. However the frustrating part is that I see their program starts 8/24/26. Why is the deadline is so close to the start date? I spend a lot of time and money (transcripts and application fees) to apply. I even had 3 recommendation, sample APA style paper, and personal statement for this application and have heard nothing. It just says Awaiting Decision. Anyone else still waiting? Any feedback is appreciated.

Only by the grace of God.. because I graduated since 11/2009 (passed boards 1/2010) and been working in a nursing home..I faxed in my resume over the summer and He did the rest

Yup cuz u gotta do that extensive physical..they do a complete CBC and BMP I was shocked

Idk when I'm starting I just know when I was interviewed it was right before the Jan orientation so she told me I'd be too late but I should make it for Feb 13 and the latest is the Mar 19 one..we'll see..

Well I found out today that I won't be in the 2/13 orientation because its full and I also found out that the HR director has been sick..this sucks because the next orientation date is March!What unit were u hired for?

How did ur test go?

Right after u take ur med exam and they tell u u passed, u then get the application and fill it out, then u interview with the HR director (all of this is the same day)..then after she interviews she gives u ur file to bring back to the front desk and they give u an appt date and time to do ur physical..its been 2 weeks since I did my physical and 3 wks since I took my med test and I still don't have a start date..what unit will u be on?

Well they gonna send u to do ur physical after successfully passing the test, they also gotta check your references..I completed my physical last week Thurs and I have no info on any start date, hire letter, or offer letter..
