If you haven't noticed by now, I like to start threads like this ever so often (sometimes they get pushed to central but that's another story, LoL.) My inspiration for this thread was an AN USER - lindarn. I often catch her kudos here and there, never seen her comment and I wondered who is this mysterious woman? I picture a lady, maybe in her 40s, blonde hair, wears glasses only to read, quiet and reserve. I could be totally wrong. I often picture in my mind what a person might look like just by reading their comments, or threads. What do you see when you read an AN USERs thread, or comments? Who is the user and what do you think they look like. This is all in fun, so please no one get offended if someone is waaaaay into left field about what they think you look like. HAVE FUN!!!!
Mrs Snowstorm, do you live in Alaska? And wear lots of white?:)
LoL!! No, actually snowstorm is the definition of my maiden name but now I'm married which is where the Mrs. came from. I live in Maryland. My favorite color is red (which is usually associated with hot), lmao! And I hate snow - weird, I know.
Being a person interested and invested in psych and all it entails I always have some type of image conjured up by the screen name, avatar, and response. I'll start with DaveyDo who is one of the nicest nurses on here ... cherrybreeze
is casual yet elegant with responses that are always articulate.
Then there's GrnTea who I imagine as a women, older, wise with age, drinks green tea, burns incense, most likely a commanding presence and logical.
Bonewax RN probably works in surgery doing prep or assist. Love the name I picture him waxing bones with a large smile but in a nice way (lol). Yes I am perverse in a healthy neurotic way. :)
Fibbet or Fribblet (can't remember) I picture as young, male, nice to be around.
ScottE is young, male, logical, knows what he's doing. Tells it like it is in a matter of fact way without inciting any riots.
Whispera is soft, female, very good advice giver, gets along with everyone type of person.
Let's see there are so many ... canesdukegirl, since I am from Hawaii I picture The Duke on a canoe in the surf and he has his girl with him and they are laughing and having fun and this poster is the girlfriend? No get mad eh ... anyway I've also noticed that bird a lot whos avatar is aNaders I think but that one is always friendly with a calm sense of humor.
Oh and then there's tyvin ... oops, that's me; well can't blame a nurse for trying ...
Don't shoot me if you don't like what I said after all it's all in fun yea. And forgive me if I got the genders wrong. It never really bothers me since people usually assume I'm a man. Maybe it's my screen name which actually is the first syllable of my 2 boys names in chronological order (ty -Tyler, vin - Vincent).
I remember these people because they are the ones who usually respond to the same threads I do whether they agree with me or not is not the point. It's the dialogue they use that makes me remember them. Always well written.

tten.
Haha, I always think the same thing re: BonewaxRN.... no offense Bonewax!
My favorite poster on here, Chin up, I imagine as a kind grandmotherly type who is very compassionate and wise (I may be way off base about the age group).
Ruby vee I imagine as a middle aged, firey red head with a great sense of humor.
Nurselovejoy would be around my age group and likes to go out dancing.
Erik types his posts from a room with sci-fi posters hanging on the walls (and maybe a blacklight poster thrown in).
Just what I picture! No offense if I am way off base!!!!
My visuals are sometimes cued by the screen name, avatar, or person's location.tokmom: always in a rainy setting, usually equivalent to being in a beautiful house like the one in The Ring.
eriksoln: often has a cat on his desk, getting in the way of his posting.
linearthinker: her posts remind me of a certain NP, so I can't help but picture that practitioner.
herring & heron: a beach setting (not too far of a stretch there)
Well, I do live among the trees, and I wish my house looked like the one in the ring. I'm actually 5' 9", short, highlighted ,pixie style, light brown hair, (a bit longer, but you get the idea). Think Eddie Bauer in tall, when you think of my clothing. I drive a Subaru because I do live in the sticks and need it during the winter.
aNaders, I think of long red, curly hair, sometimes in a pony because it's hot. Tall and thin. House..stucco with cool looking landscaping.
