What would you rather do than go into work this weekend?

The title says it all, what would you rather do than go into work this weekend? Although I do feel fortunate to have my job, I have to report to work at 1900 this evening and I'm not particularly looking forward to it!

I was off all last weekend due to being extremely ill, and that's just making it that much more difficult to wrap my head around the idea of putting on my scrubs tonight and driving to work to face my fate..

Here's what I'd rather be doing:

1. Sleeping

2. Eating dinner with my family

3. Cleaning (yes, I've stooped THAT low)

4. Watching movies with my friends

5. Just relaxing.

I normally enjoy working on the weekends, but this week I'm finding it to be such a drag…. :p

I'm lying on the couch recovering from a pretty painful surgery. I'm with you...wishing I was able bodied enough to work. Granted, I don't work weekends, but I no longer take for granted a strength and vitality that allows one to get out there in the trenches and work.

I was also out of work for 6 months recently so am very grateful for my job BUT-

I could really use a tropical vacation lounging by the pool/on the beach with a strawberry daquiri and/or frozen margarita in hand with daily massages by a handsome local...oh that sounds nice O:)

1. sleeping

2. relaxing with hubby...being on opposite schedules, it's hard to really spend time with each other

3. cleaning this apartment because my in-laws are coming next weekend! :eek: And I have to work tonight & tomorrow night, off for 2 nights, then do another 3 and then they're here...

On my drive to work this morning...I looked over to the side of the road and seen someone jogging. I deeply wished that was me. Jogging around the neighborhood but if I was off I would never be doing that! (at least not that early!)

Spend time with my daughter who has literally grown up overnight......... since I started school and working I feel tons of mom guilt........

I would also love a mani pedi too ;)

Would rather be at home, cleaning, being w/ hubby and my sons, taking a drive in the beautiful fall weather, outside in the sunshine raking leaves, or going to a NEW job that I am interviewing for this coming week and will hopefully get.

I have been working every Saturday since August and it's already old. Been doing the weekend thing since grad school ....ugh, I am so sick of it.

Weekends are very necessary to recoup and rewind.

I'm grateful, however, for a flexible job that pays decent. It's just a hard job and I'm hoping to find a new one.

I have to work this saturday (I dont have to work on sunday but I will be working on charts at home!:crying2:)

So this saturday I would love to do the following things instead of going to work

1. Play with my two pups- I have been neglecting them so much over the last few moths and I feel so bad!

2. Clean.

3. Watch a movie with my mom and my dogs LOL

4. Search the net

5. Read

6. Hang out with my man (which I will do anyway saturday night)

This is what I would like to do with my boyfriend on sunday (but I will be at his home charting instead)

1. Play with his dog (he got a beautiful pitbull)

2. Cuddle on the bed all day watching movies

3. Go out maybe to the store or resteurant

One can dream can they LOL
