I missed so many of you!

This is my chosen social media.

I wasn't tempted to join any of the others.

Hi everyone. I managed okay, but did check in often,  mainly out of habit. Since this site is a creative outlet for me, ideas would pop in my head for threads, but then I'd think "Oh darn, the site is down".

And, of course I missed Davey, naturally. 😁

I was feeling rather isolated without AN.com, like being stranded on a desert island...

"They say one door doesn't close without another opening. Since I could not post my comics on the allnurses' website, I went looking for an alternative one. Not finding one to my liking, I finally made the decision to start my own website on December 26, and by the 28th, it was up and running!"

I missed the general conversations, humor, and learning about other areas of nursing.  I kept busy watching movies on tv

My usual workday morning routine includes getting up 1 1/2 hours before work, taking a quick shower, letting the dogs out while making coffee and going on AN for about a half hour while I drink my coffee before leaving for work. Drove me nuts not having any new content to read and drove me even a little more nuts every time I found myself composing a reply in my half awake brain only to realize I couldn't actually respond to anything!

I missed the feeling that someone else "gets it". I miss the feeling of passing along something I have learned to save someone else the pain I had learning it. I missed the laughs, both belly and rueful.

Guess I just missed the whole thing.

The trolls.

Sometimes you just need a good laugh, particularly over the holidays.

I miss all the chatter. It's just too QUIET in here.

Can't wait 'til we open the doors.

Oh no! Never say the "Q" word in nursing. That's when all hell breaks loose...

I missed reading the threads and responding.  I missed DaveyDo's Comics.

I also missed my chance to put "ICU nurse" in my signature since I just made that move.  Such is life.
