What kind of RN do you want to be?

Well, without any clinical experience yet I think labor and delivery is where I want to be. But I'm open to many positions and figure I'll have a much better grasp once I do clinicals :)

I want to be a neonatal nurse in the NICU.

My new grad offer is in shock trauma ICU, though.

I plan to be a travel nurse in either specialty.

After traveling I will be a neonatal nurse practitioner, or my nurse friend and I are going to become FNP's and open our own dermatology practice!

Like AspiringNurseMW, I would like to someday work in L&D. I want to eventually become a CNM, unfortunately it may take a long time because my location is not very CNM-friendly.

As of now I think trauma because I work well in intense situations.

My goal is to be an employed RN :) I would love to go back and get my masters someday too... But I haven't even made it through nursing school yet. So we'll see if that works out

OR, Pacu, or Pre-op. But I'd take any job that comes along because my state is saturated with new grads. I'm open to other specialties too, and will know better when I start clinical rotations.
