When I have to go to a nursing home, I don't think I'll be a pleasantly confused LOL. I would be the one who tries to sneak cats into the facility.
And--since the information about how to turn off a door alarm is now lodged in a part of my brain that dementia would take time to erase, I'll be the facilities escape artist.
How about it---what kind of LTC resident will you be in the future?
I'm gonna be one of those old dears who is a real know it all and tells the nursing staff about the good old days! I will be the one causing trouble and mayhem - all I can say is, the poor poor nursing facility!
Wish there was an avatar with a grey haired old lady in a wheelchair racing around, cos that would be me! :innerconf
Just for funsies -- what do you think you'll be like when you're old? Will you be alert, oriented X3?
Will you be crotchety and noncompliant?
Will you be pleasantly confused?
Or maybe demanding and critical?
Confused and combative?
What kind of Oldster do you see yourself becoming?
Well...depending on what age person you ask, I'm already OLD! :rotfl: So, I guess I'd have to say that when I'm "OLD" according to MY definition of "OLD".............I "Will be alert, and oriented X3"....thank ya veddy much! :dncg: :w00t:
I have a feeling that I am going to be pleasantly confused because I already am part of the time.....now what was I doing before I sat down at the computer???? Oh yeah cleaning....ugh- ugh- ugh!!!!!
I don't know if I want to go to a LTC....please....let me stay at home and go out sleeping.....

:rotfl: Me too! Me too !!!
And definately the one who's always into some sort of mischief, :innerconf ....breaking the rules at the NH, convincing others to have wheelchair races down the halls.... :chuckle
Just let me have my propellor beanie and my laptop and I'll be happy as a clam.
Won't give 'em no trouble at all !
