This year I am sharing my board with the counselor. Its on the wall between our two offices. She has something up right now, but in a few days I'm going to put up my "keep calm and countdown to summer" board. It has squares that can be crossed off each day until summer break. The kids loved it last year.
I have three health questions of the month posted on my board. (k-1, 2-3, 4-5) In my office are ballot boxes for answers. At the end of the month I post the answers on the board. Three times a year, I pull out a name of a participant from each box for a prize. The more months that a student participates, the better the chance they have of winning.
Questions vary in difficulty and content based on the season. The older kids don't get "yes or no" things because they are supposed to be working on their reasoning and writing skills, so the whole thing fits under both Health and ELA content...

I need to update/change mine. Currently it is all healthy foods/fruits, veggies, etc. I want a fun, new topic to focus on.
Ideas or inspiration?
