What you get for nurses week

I just found out that Cinnabon is giving nurses a free cinnabon for nurses week. Just what my plump and juicy butt needs... :yeah:

In clinical today, they had sandwiches for the nurses....that Cinnabon sounded pretty good.....

Specializes in Ortho, Case Management, blabla.

Nurses got a hot pink keychain thingy that says, "We're compassionate and we care!" With the hospital logo (I'm a male nurse, so I'll proudly be sporting that pink thing).

Meanwhile, the physical therapists got pizza for "medical professionals" week.

Isn't nice to feel a part of a small "family-like" facility? Kudos to all of you for taking the time to do something nice for each other!

That would be okay if your hospital advertising color was pink.

As for the PTs and pizza, as a nurse, you can treat their heartburn, lol!

Guess my husband's saying should be a comfort "Expect nothing and and you won't be disappointed."

Of course there are strings attached :) There always are. I must continue to work for the hospital for one year (which I planned on doing anyway).

i want to work there, we got a baseball cap that has the hosp. name on it, I can only say where that hat is headed, and it's not on my head, and my girlfriend who works on another floor they got watches with the hosp.'s name and nurses week 2008, much more useful then a baseball hat.

wow you can buy the same chair at walmart for $10, I can't imagine how your's looks, are the legs on your chair made out of plastic, and will it actually work for more than one use, like most of the stuff the hosp.'s give us.

I have no idea what possessed them to do it, but this year, we got pocket knives. I'm hoping no one who is armed has a mental meltdown.
