There are so many choices:uhoh3: ...which color did/ or will buy ??
MY other thought is this=maybe it is just me but for the littmans,(0r any kind) why cant they make each end -weigh the same--mine is always sliding off on the one end because they are unbalanced. I wish they were more equal to keep the steth from sliding off your neck just as you are finishing up a long catheterization and you cant just grab it and readjust. Is it just me?
If the tubing gets stained, or permanently "bent" from your neck, you can buy new tubing w/o getting an entire new stethoscope.

Hi there..I originally bought a seal blue littman lightweight se II. Then I saw the breast cancer awareness Littman and had to get it b/c it's in light pink, so much of your purchase goes to the cause...AND they engraved my name on it all for around 80 bucks. Plus, I can hear better with it...I think it's the classic II model. Here is a link, although I didn't buy mine through allheart.com: http://www.allheart.com/litt2se2815.html
a purple littman classic ii se for me
when i graduate, i'm gifting myself the ultrascope in purple with a purple head with the stick nurse on it. engraved with my name, and rn! :w00t:
my school encourages us to get any color we want... i guess they realize how ugly our clinical uniforms are, so they'd make up for it. :chuckle

On most of them, you can "hook" the bell on the earpieces and it will stay put that way. I Have a Littman master classic II and the bell is much heavier, but if I hook the bell on the earpiece then it stays around my neck.
To answer the OP, mine is burgundy.

OOOOH OOHH GET A DARK color-it wont show pen marks, neck dirt, grunge etc. Also I bought an orange littman with name engraved, but the lanyard with my name badge on it was black and the color rubbed off onto the stethoscope and made it look brown. SO GO DARK>>>> REALLY esp if it is expensive, get light colored cheap ones, but not in the expensive ones.
