Hi there!
I decided on burgundy. I really wanted an ultrascope, but our school won't permit them so I'm going with the Littman. I was going to go with black b/c of the "professionalism" etc...but then I thought for me it's boring.
Frankly I think they could do more with the range of colors but that's not our purpose for being there!
Good luck

A friend of mine who is a nurse bought me a purple stethoscope for Christmas. She said everyone has black and they're less likely to swipe a purple one. The best part: She had our favorite Grammy award winning singer sign the box for me! :)

Haha! My stethescope is a burgundy Littman. I wish we were allowed more extravagant ones because it could ease the conversations between some of the more stoic patients, but as of now, I'm only allowed this one. :)

I have a pink Littman (Breast Cancer....$5 donated to charity) and a burgundy Littman (Cardiac one and didn't have a lot of color choices...gummed).
There was an ALL black cardiac one I thought about getting because it was ALL black and different but I don't really want black...would have gotten it if it was ALL pink or purple or something fun.

Purple Littman- also figured it wouldn't get taken as easily as a black one

At the moment I use a "seafoam" green one that sort of matches my uniform. However I have a ped's scope in pink that I plan on using during Ped's rotation. I haven't really decided which color I like, especially since there's so many now a days to choose from.
